1 Section 15 ENTRIES CLOSE: Friday, August 10, 2018 EXHIBITS DUE: 10:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13 except where noted JUDGING BEGINS: 9:00 a.m., Friday, September 14 RELEASE TIME: 7:30 p.m., Sunday, September 16 for walk-in/out exhibits VEHICLE LOADING: 9:00 p.m. 1. Limited to residents of Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino Counties and Sonoma County. 2. LIMIT: Only two entries per class per exhibitor. Exhibits must be in place by 10:00 pm, Thursday, September The quality desired in agriculture and horticulture product exhibits is the quality that brings the best financial return in the commercial market and such exhibits must be at the least equal in maturity as the state of ripeness required by Section of the California Agricultural Code in order to be considered for Premium awards. 4. Section Mature means having reached that stage of ripeness that will ensure the completion of the ripening process to a degree that will insure palatability after the removal of the product from the tree, plant or vine. 5. Section Overripe means having an advanced state of maturity that causes the product to be undesirable for human consumption in a fresh state. 6.
