My family and I grow a huge array of fruits and vegetables and a staggering number of culinary herbs and greens, everything is handpicked everyday by us and sold at our market right on the farm.

Diversity unmatched. My name is Bernadette Fox. I want to welcome you to my family s farm and plant nursery! My family and I grow a huge array of fruits and vegetables and a staggering number of culinary herbs and greens, everything is handpicked everyday by us and sold at our market right on the farm. The truth is, we wouldn t be here, doing what we love to do, if it wasn t for our dad. In 1974, my dad Tom Fox started Magicland Farms in Fremont, MI because he was simply hungry for good, fresh food! This commitment to providing the very best to his family and customers is the cornerstone of our farm s legacy and our driving passion. Today, Magicland Farms has over 100 varieties of apples and has one of the widest portfolio of heritage produce grown by a small family farm in the USA. In 2017 our farm is growing customized herb gardens for local restaurants. You choose which herbs, heirloom vegetables and flowers you want. I will grow and deliver them myself. Tomatoes: Apart from juicy, vine-ripened, burger-sized tomatoes we have 4 different colored cherries: SunSugar (golden - our customers consider them pieces of candy because they are so sweet!), Lucky Tiger (green/yellow striped), Cherry Bomb (bright red), and Indigo Cherry Drops (dark purple). AND over 12 different heirlooms: Green Zebra, Cherokee Purple, Brandywine, Mortgage Lifter, Taxi, Lemon Boy, Chef s Choice, Moskvich,

4 Berkeley Tie Dye, Indigo Rose, Damsel, Glacier, and Rutgers. AND we also grow San Marzano - the perfect salsa/sauce/paste tomato. Publicizing Your Vision: To educate and excite your patrons about what they are eating you publicize your restaurant s vision as part of the farm-totable movement.

Keep in mind we also grow a large selection of fall decorations including small gourds, miniature pumpkins, and decorative corn. Publicizing Your Vision: To educate and excite your patrons about what they are eating you publicize your restaurant s vision as part of the farm-totable movement. I can help you expand on this through creative ways to credit your farmers. a) Credit farmers right in your menu. b) Put up an evolving source list in a prominent location. This list would be a colorful presentation of all the farms you source from. c) Use art to explain to people who your farmers are. I am a farmer, but I m also a professional artist and art on the wall or tables (e.g., coaster, napkin holder, condiment carrier, flower vase, water pitcher, platter, etc.) would be a unique method. d) Become part of our Custom Herb Garden for Restaurants club. See flyer.

7 Howdy there! Wonderful to meet you! My name is Bernadette Fox. I have always loved getting my hands dirty and growing anything and everything since I was a little girl. I grew up on my dad s 60-acre fruit and vegetable farm and market he started back in the 70s. I continue to work there to this day along with my brothers and sisters where we constantly strive to bring the freshest and tastiest fruits and vegetables to our customers - only selling at our market what we grow on our farm. It is this way we have complete control of quality and taste and give our customers only the best. I am excited to be able to share my life s passion with brilliant chefs and their patrons and provide chefs with healthy, hard-to-find ingredients, custom grown to their menus and picked at the peak of perfection. I am also excited that all restaurants who decide to source ingredients from me this year will become an integral part of the purchase of my own farm located just down the road from my family s farm where I grew up. Help me convert 40 acres of open land and woods into a beautiful, sustainable oasis for farmer and visitors alike with organically grown herbs, super fruits, heirloom vegetables, and many unique edibles rarely seen and tasted!
