White peach and apple notes with a creamy texture in your mouth. A long aftertaste with lemon zest rounds off this well balanced MCC. L Ormarins Brut Rosè (Overberg) 100% Pinot Noir Enticing pale salmon hue. In the mouth the entry is crisp and vibrant with lively peach, Pomegranate and cranberry flavor. L Ormarins Blanc De Blanc (Overberg) Lively fine mousse. Bright and zesty lemon aromas tinged with subtle oyster shell and sour dough bread yeastiness, limestone and faint hint of caramel. The bubbly is tangy and vibrant while taut and focused with a long aftertaste. La Motte Brut 2015 (Franschhoek) 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir The nose shows fresh apple, aromas of baked bread and roasted nuts. A fine mousse promising an exciting fresh wine. CHAMPAGNE Baron de Rothschild Blanc de Blancs N.V (France) 100% Chardonnay The nose is dominant with citrus such as orange peel and lemon zest which blends with fresh almonds and dried fruit. The palate is clean and precise followed by a silky freshness and intertwined with citrus and white fruits. Baron de Rothschild Rose N.V (France) 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir Subtle aromas of spring with fragrances of rose petals, wild strawberry and a hint of citrus zest. A fresh silkiness is found on the palate with slight raspberry undertones, a well-balanced wine with a full long finish.

3 ROSÈ Protea Rosé (Western Cape) A fresh, elegant and well-balanced blend of 3 varietals namely Mourvedre Cinsaut and Shiraz which were sourced from Darling, Swartland and Wellington regions. A gentle berry / cherry bright fruitiness on the nose. Tasty plum and red fruit flavours are lifted and freshened with a vibrant acidity and even an edge of grapefruit. Leopards Leap Lookout Rosé (Agter-Paarl) Hints of Pinotage followed by pomegranate, strawberry and Turkish delight aroma. A prominent taste of raspberry sherbet is found on the palate leaving a lingering freshness. De Morgenzon Garden Vineyard Rosé 2017 (Stellenbosch) Juicy flavours of cherries and strawberries are the characters to be found on the nose. Delicate and floral spice with fruit salad ends in well balanced crisp and dry palate. CHARDONNAY Protea Chardonnay (Franschhoek) Peach and apricot aromas with orange blossom on the nose. Stone fruit flavours of apricot, peach and nectarines are immediately picked up on the palate with a crisp and long-balanced finish. De Wetshof Bon Vallon Chardonnay 2017 (Robertson) Fresh green apples with stone fruit and citrus on the nose. Fruity and mineral tones on the palate finishes of this dry full bodied wine. La Motte Chardonnay 2016 (Franschhoek) This wine is made from whole-bunch pressed grapes produced exclusively on La Motte, favoured by the Franschhoek Valley s terroir, which is well-known for rendering exceptional Chardonnay. The wine is fermented and matured in French oak barrels, to produce full bodied, fruity wine with subtle oak flavours.

4 Cape of Good Hope Serruria Chardonnay 2015 (Overberg) Peach, citrus and oak bouquet. Lime and citrus zest with a hint of passion fruit and oak on the palate. A wine with beautiful balanced acidity and a long smooth, creamy finish. Rupert and Rothschild Chardonnay 2016 (Western Cape) Loads of citrus and nutty notes are found on the nose. A fusion of citrus blossom with macadamia nougat and baguette crust on the palate, followed by a creamy roundness ending in a lingering lemon zest finish. SAUVIGNON BLANC Protea Sauvignon Blanc (Franschhoek) Gooseberry, fig and granadilla with lime zest and grass, a typical bouquet of Sauvignon Blanc. Lemon and lime zest flavours with hints of asparagus is found on the palate, which ends with fresh acidity and gravelly notes. Leopard s Leap Sauvignon Blanc (Western Cape) A firm yet elegant structure with fresh, crisp, apple and lime flavours that lead to a zest aftertaste. La Motte Sauvignon Blanc 2017 (Western Cape) Grapes from different vineyards are combined to produce this popular varietal wine. This unwooded aperitif-style wine is highly regarded for its distinctive strong gooseberry character backed up by apple, winter melon, lemon and a satisfying structure. Cape of Good Hope Altima Sauvignon Blanc 2016 (Overberg) Tropical fig, granadilla and pear bouquet on the nose. Tropical fruits such as fig, gooseberries and lemon zest is characterful on the palate. A well textured wine with a light dry finish. La Motte Pierneef Sauvignon Blanc 2017 (Cape South Coast) The wine shows layers of intense fruit - green fig, ripe apple and fruit cocktail. The distinctive freshness and minerality reflect the soils and climates of some of the southern-most sites in Africa.

5 Tokara Elgin Sauvignon Blanc 2017 (Walker Bay) Interesting aromas of sea air, quince and nettles are found on the nose. A crisp palate with notes of quince, greengage and guava are found on the palate. The mid palate is rich and mouth filling with a long crisp finish. Rimapere Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand) Grapefruit and lemon flavours, minerality and intense acidity persistence of citrus aromas. The Rimapere initiative is the result of the alliance between Benjamin De Rothschild and the Peabody Family of New Zealand, which owns Craggy Range Winery. CHENIN BLANC Protea Chenin Blanc (Stellenbosch) A little shy initially, the nose offers up some nectarine and green apricot whiffs along with a light Pear note. The palate is refreshingly lively and vibrant with ample stone fruit and lemon flavours. Leopard s Leap Chenin Blanc (Franschhoek) Prominent guava aromas with hints of litchi and mango with herbaceous undertones on the nose. A combination of herbs and ripe summer fruit, with firm acidity with a lingering finish. Cape of Good Hope Van Lill and Visser Chenin Blanc 2017 (Overberg) Spices such as cinnamon and cloves are most dominant on the nose with hints of stone fruits. A full bodied Chenin Blanc with beautiful notes of citrus peel, peaches and pineapple lingers on the palate long afterwards. Welbedacht Fermented Chenin Blanc 2014 (Wellington) Fresh kiwi, guava, passion fruit and grassy undertones can be picked up on the nose. Apricot, toffee and guava notes with caramel and wood can be found on the palate, full bodied in style with great length. De Morgenzon Chenin Blanc 2016 (Stellenbosch) Peaches, honey and toast are prominent on the nose. Intense flavours of pear, orange blossom, caramel and spice explodes in your mouth. This wine has the perfect balance of lush fruit and crisp acidity with a long finish.

6 WHITE BLENDS AND OTHER VARIETALS Protea Pinot Grigio (Western Cape) Appealing stonefruit aromas of nectarine and white peach with a faint nuance of elderflower too. Succulent and juicy in the mouth in the mouth with delightful nectarine tang and lip-smacking note of lemon and citrus. Terra Del Capo Pinot Grigio (Franschhoek) Peach, apple and light floral hints could be picked up on the nose. Honeysuckle richness with nectarine, peach and lime zest will linger long agter on the palate. A light and fresh wine. De Wetshof Rhine Riesling 2014 (Robertson) Spicy aromas with citrus and peach can be picked up the nose. This off-dry wine has hints of peach and spicy oak on the palate with fruity aftertaste. Cape of Good Hope Laing Semillon 2014 (Cederberg) Green apple, wax and lemon grass could be found on the nose. Pineapple and mango are Prominent characters on the palate with secondary flavours of oak and lemon and a mineral Finish. This full bodied wine could age well for a few more years. Cape of Good Hope Caroline 2014 (Riebeeksrivier, Swartland) A typical Rhône style white blend comprising of 63% Chenin Blanc, 22% Rousanne and 15% Viognier. The palate boast with rich, ripe honeyed peach & tropical fruit supported by a creamy, toasty oak element. Tokara Director s Reserve White Blend 2013 (Stellenbosch) The nose has the intense aroma of quince, passion fruit and roasted almonds. The oak maturation and the full fruit palate rounds this well balanced wine off perfectly. The finish is rich and long.

7 RED BLENDS AND OTHER VARIETALS La Motte Millennium 2015 (Western Cape) 66% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, 7% Malbec and 6% Petit Verdot The nose of the wine reflects how it was made. Merlot dominates the Bordeaux style. Lush raspberries with the herbaceous Cabernet Franc and English toffee from oak maturation. Well rounded and harmonious, ending in a rich, juicy palate. Rupert and Rothschild Classique 2015 (Franschhoek) 40% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon Young and vibrant with raspberry aromas, blueberry, roasted pine nuts and dark chocolate aftertaste that seem to linger on forever on the palate. Anthonij Rupert Optima 2013 (Franschhoek) Hints of cinnamon and cocoa overlay fruitcake and blackberry with a light oak on the nose. The palate offers up the same characteristics with plum, along with more earthy and inky nuance providing depth. It`s a beautifully balanced wine with a long finish. Rupert and Rothschild Baron Edmond 2014 (Franschhoek) 60% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon Focused and elegant with deliciously pure black cherry, strawberry and dark chocolate notes on the nose. Roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate is dominant on the palate with hints of berries. Terre Del Capo Sangiovese 2014 (Franschhoek) Coal and inky notes with blueberries and plum is found on the nose. Blue and blackberry fruit with plum on the palate which leaves a succulent juicy and textured finish. Tokara Director`s Reserve Red Blend 2012 (Stellenbosch) Prunes, cassis, black cherries, cocoa and mocha aromas are dominant on the nose. Dark berry fruit infused with oak notes of cedar and vanilla pod are found on the palate. The tannins are broad textured yet result in great focus on the finish. Rust En Vrede Estate 2014 (Stellenbosch) Aromas of red fruit, dark chocolate, liquorice and pencil lead are the dominant notes picked up on the nose. Red berry and mocha flavours are supported by creamy tannins with a soft lingering aftertaste.

8 RED BLENDS AND OTHER VARIETALS Anthonij Rupert Blend 2010 (Franschhoek) Macerated cherries, plum and blackcurrant are the dominant characters found on the nose. Black cherry, plum and cassis on the palate, underpinned by hints of spice. Complex, powerful and elegant. La Motte Hanneli R 2011 (Western Cape) 53% Shiraz, 25% Grenache, 8% Cinsaut, 8% Carignan, 6% Merlot The combination of Shiraz, Grenache, Cinsaut, Carignan and Merlot and thirty-six months wood maturation has produced a wine with exceptional depth, complexity and personality. Flavours of sweet stewed prunes and liquorice backed by caramel wood flavours. Anthonij Rupert Cabernet- Franc 2010 (Franschhoek) Spicy fruitcake, dark berries and hints of cigar box are the aromas on the nose. Fruitcake, cedar and forest floor with hints of cocoa fills the palate that rounds off a well-balanced wine with a long finish.

9 CABERNET SAUVIGNON Protea Cabernet Sauvignon (Franschhoek) Whiffs of dark cocoa, cigar and tobacco leaves with blackcurrants, spice and fruitcake populate the bouquet. The palate is rich, supple and rounded with layers of those same elements, cocoa, cigars, fruitcake and black berries. While juicy and drinkable, it s textured with lovely ripeness. Leopard`s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon (Robertson) With lovely undertones of blueberries, mulberries and cassis on the nose. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a quite velvety wine with soft tannins making it easy drinking. La Motte Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 (Western Cape) An elegant, typically South African style Cabernet Sauvignon, made to reflect varietal characteristics. The dark red colour and big extract reveal a great year for reds. Intense varietal nose with blackcurrant, violets, mint and hints of plum. Heavy body, but rounded tannins and fleshy consistency. Rust en Vrede Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 (Stellenbosch) Cassis and red currant aromas are infused with floral characteristics that is found on the nose. Red fruit and liquorice flavours fill the palate that is rounded off with firm tannins and an oakiness with a long finish. Anthonij Rupert Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 (Franschhoek) Rich, spicy fruitcake, cedar and tobacco leaf on the nose. Lots of the same characters with black cherry, nutmeg and cedar spices are on the palate. It has an elegant oak and fruity finish to it.

10 MERLOT Protea Merlot (Franschhoek) Blueberry, mulberry and plum aromas are in abundance on the nose. Hints of cocoa with red fruit are dominant on the palate. With the soft tannins it`s a well-balanced wine with a long finish. Leopard s Leap Merlot (Franschhoek) Hints of cocoa with red fruit are dominant on the palate. With the soft tannins it s a well-balanced wine with a long finish. Rust en Vrede Merlot 2015 (Stellenbosch) Dried dark fruit and Christmas cake are the most dominant characters on the nose. Plum, berries and cherries are immediately picked up on the palate with hints of spicy oak finish make this an elegant and enjoyable wine. Cape of Good Hope Parel Vallei Farmstead Merlot 2012 (Stellenbosch) Plum, red berry, eucalyptus and mint are the dominant bouquet. With the plum and cherry carrying over from the nose to the palate it`s accompanied by dark cocoa and hints of spices too. This elegant wine has a smooth long aftertaste and finish. Anthonij Rupert Merlot 2012 (Franschhoek) Mulberry and blackberry aromas with hints of fynbos aromas. Plum pudding, Christmas cake with spicy cinnamon and clove highlights. A cocoa element adds depth but it remains posed and fresh. Long rewarding aftertaste.

11 SHIRAZ Protea Shiraz (Franschhoek) Black cherry, smoky charcuterie, pepper and spice are found on the nose. Most of the characters found on the nose will be found on the palate, as well as hints of plum. A lovely gentle fruited finish with rich cocoa aftertaste. Leopard s Leap Shiraz (Franschhoek) Deep purple layers of plum and blackberry, intertwined with subtle undertones of cracked black pepper. Whiffs of clove and coriander create a rich and intense aroma on the nose. Waterford Kevin Arnold Shiraz 2013 (Stellenbosch) Aromas of mulberry, red currants and spices are the dominant bouquet on the nose. The bouquet carries over on to the palate with light hints of oak. La Motte Syrah (Western Cape) Years of experience in producing this varietal have enabled La Motte to combine the grapes of a number of cool terroirs to capture juicy berry-fruit, sweet liquorice, violet flowers and pepper spice. Cape of Good Hope Southern Slopes 2013 (Western Cape) Appealing ripe black plum, spice and tobacco leaf notes on the nose. Succulent red and black berry Fruit vibrance in the mouth, along with spicy tobacco and turned earth notes. La Motte Pierneef Syrah Viognier 2015 (Western Cape) 89% Syrah, 11% Viognier This wine was inspired by the great Cote Rotie style in the northern Rhône area. It is a unique blend of white and red wine. The flamboyant flavour of the Viognier is a lively complement to the spiciness of the Shiraz. Anthonij Rupert Syrah 2011 (Franschhoek) Violet bouquet mingles with ripe plum, black cherry and spice. A pliable, textured wine packed with silky rich, ripe black fruit. The gentle floral violet note and spice add dimension. Smooth and velvety, it`s layered with depth and concentrated, yet remains fresh and succulent. Balanced, structured and polished.

12 PINOTAGE Welbedacht Pinotage 2015 (Wellington) Raspberry, vanilla, cocoa and smoked meat are only some of aromas to be picked up on this wine. The cocoa and berries are met with cinnamon, oak and black pepper on the palate. This beautiful wine has been rounded off with lovely tannins and a long finish. Cape of Good Hope Basson Pinotage 2015 (Swartland) Dark berry fruit, spicy plum and floral notes found on the nose. Deep mocha with blackcurrant and red berries are found on the palate. Well rounded tannins finishes off this beautiful wine that seems to linger on forever. Simonsig Pinotage 2014 (Stellenbosch) This youthful wine with its alluring ruby colour entices with the sweet scented aromas of red berries, blueberries and a touch of spice. The finish is juicy and delectable. PINOT NOIR De Wetshof Nature in Concert Pinot Noir 2010/ 11 (Robertson) Aromas of dark berries and ripe plum are the noticeable notes found on the nose. Full-ripe berries and cherries with a nutty aroma is found on the palate with smooth tannins which makes it an elegant wine. Meerlust Pinot Noir 2016 (Stellenbosch) Intense, vivid translucent youthful purple-ruby appearance. On the palate there are very pure Pinot. Fruit flavours on entry with red cherry and musk flavours coupled with fresh acidity.
