All exhibits shall be 85% or greater Limestone Coast and must conform to the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation (AWBC) Label Integrity Program (LIP). 3. An on-line entry fee of $50 including GST per exhibit must accompany application for entry. A $55 (incl GST) must accompany paper entries; these entry fees are non refundable. 4. Each entry shall consist of four (4) 750ml or equivalent samples [eight (8) 375ml in class 33]. Exhibitors may be asked to provide additional commercially labelled samples. Call backs are; Major Trophy 24 by 750mL Trophy 18 by 750ml Selected Gold 12 by 750ml These are to be delivered within one month from the end of the wine show. 5. An exhibitor is defined as any Person, Partnership, Company or Body Corporate who or which in the opinion of the Committee: (a) produces wine; or (b) grows grapes and has wine made for the purpose of sale by wholesale or retail under the name or preferred business name of such. (c) Wines should be entered under a principal wine brand, where the wines entered reflect the label & not be under a parent or subsiduary brand. It is a requirement that the wines are entered into a class which most reflects how they are or will be commercially labelled. (Note - Medals may only be claimed under the name which the wine was entered.) 6. All Entries shall bear labels supplied by the Wine Show Committee. Exhibits bearing commercial labels will be accepted. The Wine Show label should not obscure the commercial labels if possible. 7. Entries in the Museum classes 34 & 35 shall be commercially labelled & dressed as well as bear the Wine Show label supplied. The Wine Show label should not obscure the commercial labels if possible. 8. There will be a Trophy for the Best Individual Vineyard Wine. The Individual vineyard wines will be judged amongst the regular exhibits and the Trophy can only be awarded to a gold medal wine. For an exhibit to be considered by the committee as individual vineyard it shall be from a Named single block or vineyard, clearly referred to on the commercial label (front or back) that reflects the link between site and label. The individual block or vineyard shall be a single site, continuous and defined. The wine shall be 85% or greater from this site. Both Entry form and FORM 2 statutory declaration shall be completed and signed for these exhibits. (NOTE - map and labels will be required with FORM 2.) 9. Exhibits are to be packed in cartons clearly stating the exhibitor s name and class numbers in that carton. The wine show committee will supply bottle labels, detailing class number, entry number, vintage and varietal composition and whether the wine is bottled or not. 10. Any entries not paid for, incorrectly labelled, or received outside of the allocated delivery period will not be included in the judging. 11. All exhibits become the property of the Limestone Coast Wine Show. 12

13 12. A wine shall only be entered once in the show. 13. There is no limit to the number of entries, per exhibitor, in each class. 14. Judges shall not at any time prior to the announcement of results have access to the identity of exhibits. 15. Only wines that win Gold medals shall be eligible for trophy selection. The exception will be for the International Judges Award (see Regulation 16). 16. There will be an International Judges Award. Any labelled wine entered in the show is eligible for this award. The International Judge will determine the criteria for selection. The philosophy is to award a deserving wine that shows excellence but would not necessarily achieve status in the existing judging and trophy structure. The award will be presented along with the trophies and in similar fashion. 17. There will be an opportunity to enter small batch wines. Small batch is where a maximum of 1350L (150 dozen) were produced and a minimum of 25 cases are in stock at time of entry. These will be judged with the regular exhibits and in the regular classes. If a wine is entered as small batch at time of entry, it is not eligible for any trophy other than the small batch trophy. The Stand Alone TROPHY for Small Batch wines may be given to the best wine that exhibits something new or innovative or is simply excellent. Small Batch wines shall not be entered in the Museum classes (classes 34 & 35). Only gold medal wines are eligible for this Trophy. 18. Judges will use the standard 20 point scale, with results published for all wines. Tank samples or unbottled/ unfinished wines will receive points only and are not eligible for medals or awards trophies. 19. The most successful exhibitor trophy will be awarded to the exhibitor who has acheived the highest aggregate score, from their top five or less scoring entries. No more than five exhibits shall be included for the calculation for this trophy. Non-bottled wines points and Museum Classes 29 & 30 are excluded from this. 20.
