2 STAFF & VOLUNTEERS We would like to extend our heartfelt continued thanks to all who have worked hard to make this event possible. Many of our members continue to work diligently to make this a successful event by serving directly on the Committee, selling tickets, soliciting donations and donating their time and talent in so many ways. This year, we are honored to have so many guests visiting from California, Washington/Idaho, and Louisiana Rainbow especially our volunteer kitchen staff and Chef who have worked tirelessly to ensure a delicious meal for us. 3 Thank you for joining us for our 5th Annual Harvest Moon Gala Wine Tasting and Auction Event! We are delighted you are here. We hope you will have a very enjoyable evening with a delicious dinner prepared by our friend, Chef Scott, fine wines, music and fellowship. Thank you for supporting the donors who have generously contributed to our event and thank you to our many donors and volunteer staff who have made this event possible. The proceeds from our Annual Gala are designated to help us host our international convention, Supreme Assembly, in It has been decades since this convention has been hosted in the west, and we are eager to share this experience with everyone. The Committee also makes a generous donation to the Grand Officer Gypsy Fund which helps our Grand Officers travel to their assigned jurisdictions. To each of our guests, we say, please enjoy a wonderful evening. We hope you enjoy some fellowship time with our guests, have lots of fun bidding on the Silent Auction Baskets, the Dessert Auction Treats, Raffle opportunities, and our Live Auction. 4 EVENT RULES All items must be paid in full prior to leaving. Payment may be made in cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. All sales are final. Refunds will be made on purchased items only where there is a failure to perform either on the part of the Harvest Moon Gala or on the part of the specific donor. Gift Certificate items are valid for one year from the date of the event, (11/21/15) unless otherwise stated. It is the buyer s responsibility to comply with the expiration dates and restrictions of each Certificate. Two tickets to next year s event are contained in one of the baskets this year. The new owner of the elephant trinket must identify himself to the Committee within ten days of the close of this year s event. CHECK OUT PROCEDURES Each participant must have a bid number prior to bidding on any items; your bid number is on the back of this program. Please be sure you pay for all items at one time. Raffle tickets, dessert, silent and live auction items and etched glasses will be added to your Bidding Sheet by volunteer staff. Cashiering/Check out will open at approximately 8:30 pm, giving the cashiers time to enter sold items to ensure your check out runs smoothly. Staff will assist our guest with their winning items upon check out; please do not gather the items you have purchased by yourself.
