Superb structure and some complexity, yet smooth and silky. Outstanding value. Piekenierskloof Six Hats Chenin Blanc Outstanding and delicious fruit in this flavourful chenin. Creamy texture on the palate with fresh finish. More off-dry than dry. Very appealing. La Couronne Portside Red Well rounded easy drinking quaffer. Spicy aromas and soft tannins. Platter 3* Essay Red This is a delicious Rhône style blend of shiraz, grenache, cinsault and mourvedre and led by shiraz (69%). Excellent fruit in this most appealing well rounded blend. Great quality-- scoring 89 points in (US) Wine Advocate s ratings by Robert Parker. Outstanding value. Solms-Delta Hiervandaan Delicious and classy Rhône style red blend of mostly grenache and shiraz with some cinsaut. Excellent fruit and oaking. Sumptuous yet elegant. Beautifully matured and now drinking at its best Owners' recommendation. Platter 4*.

2 Sauvignon Blanc M.A.N. Family Wines Warrelwind Sauvignon Blanc Paarl Is a harmonious and well-balanced wine, showing typical green herbaceous flavours as well as richer tropical notes. On the palate the wine shows bright tropical fruit flavours of passion fruit and pineapple (our Paarl fruit) complemented by crisp, well integrated acidity. The wine has a rich, full structure (from Sémillon) with a rounded and creamy mouthfeel. Groote Post Sauvignon Blanc Darling Lively fruit-driven sauvignon. Flavours of lime, gooseberry and kiwi fruit with fresh minerality in the finish. One of the SA s top sauvignons. Ghost Corner Sauvignon Blanc Elim Won trophy for best sauvignon blanc in the world over 15 at the Decanter World Wine Awards, 2013 by Cederberg s David Niewoudt from grapes sourced from the cool climate area of Cape Agulhas (region of origin Elim) the southern most tip of Africa. The acidity is well balanced and the wine has a long mineral finish. An extremely versatile wine, the award-winning old vine Chenin Blanc pairs well with spicy curry dishes, barbecued chicken, sushi, salads, citrus-inspired cuisine and matured white cheese. Cederberg Chenin Blanc Cederberg Widely regarded as a leading example of Cape unwooded chenin. This vintage secured Veritas Double Gold recognition. This vintage was awarded a Michelangelo Gold medal. Vibrant fruity flavours of melon, guava and tropical fruit with fresh, clean finish. Deetlefs Estate Chenin Blanc Breedekloof Much decorated full bodied yet elegant chenin with a superb finish. Light lemon yellow colour. Complex combination of granadilla, lime, peaches with very delicate floral hint of peach blossoms. Fresh citrus flavour entry, with prominent aromas. Wine has fresh grapefruit acidity. Stark Condé Cabernet Sauvignon Stellenbosch Trophy winner at the Old Mutual awards with 2010 vintage. Best cabernet in South Africa (with 2007 vintage).dark plum and blackberry flavours with suggestions of mint. Rich, toasty finish. Platter 4*. Classic Stellenbosch cabernet. Thelema Cabernet Stellenbosch Complex and stylish, with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate and pencil shavings. This wine is bone dry, yet exhibits a lovely sweet fruit character on the palate, with a lovely long finish One of South Africa s most consistently fine cab s. Lovely ripe fruit. Well balanced with supple integrated tannins. Platter 4.5* Deetlefs Winery Cabernet Breedekloof This wine earned a gold medal at the prestigious international Wine and spirits competition in London. Soft tannins and red fruit flavours (black currant and raspberry) with hints of herbs. 9 months wood fermentation in French oak. A very good value cabernet sauvignon. Not rated by Platter.

Mediun bodied yet succulent with abundant fruit flavours with hits of pepper and spice. Well interpreted oaking rated 90 points by Robert Parker (US) wine advocate. Boschkloof Syrah Stellenbosch Powerful yet supremely elegant. Spicy and fruity with well integrated wood. Excellent structure to this Rhône style wine. Platter 4½* Eikendal Charisma Stellenbosch This wine truly lives up to its name. Great character and verve. Indeed, we have found it to be a revelation. A true Mediterranean style wine mostly Rhone with hints of Spain and Italy thrown in for good measure. Silky tannins and full fruit flavours with subtle suggestions of spice make this a superb wine. Platter 4* Joostenberg Klippe Kou Syrah Paarl Elegant Rhône style wine. A shiraz with a small percentage (about 6%) of viognier which provides Lively fragrance to spicy and dark berry fruit flavours of shiraz. Platter 4* Cederberg Shiraz Cederberg The previous vintage off this wine won the prestigious award from Decanter (in England) for best Rhône Decanter (in England) for best Rhône style red in the world. An outstanding achievement for a South African wine. Great balance and structure. Smooth yet multi-dimensional and complex. Superb finish. Veritas Double Gold. Michelangelo Double Gold. Platter 4*. Stark Condè Three Pines Syrah Stellenbosch This vintage won the Trophy for best shiraz in South Africa at the Old Mutual Trophy Awards, Complex multi layered flavours in this truly outstanding shiraz. Oaked for 2 years. Excellent structure and velvety smooth. Eagles Nest Shiraz This fast became one of SA's leading shiraz's vintage secured prestigous 5* rating in Platter. Characteristic peppery shiraz flavours with sumptuous black fruit, beautifully textured with freshness in the finish.excellently oaked for some 18 months, providing superb structure. A true gem.

10 Pinot Noir Ghost Corner Pinot Noir Elim A beautifully crafted Pinot noir with prominent red fruit of ripe cherries and sweet raspberries with an undertone of earthy, mushroom nuances. A silky palate with berries and delicate oak components following through. To be enjoyed on its own, but well paired with a mushroom soup or crispy duck and chicken dishes. Chamonix Reserve Pinot Noir Franschhoek Marvelous Burgundy style. Platter 5*. Raspberry and floral aromas. Very well judged oaking. Range of flavours in this smooth and elegant wine. Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir Hermanus Widely regarded as South Africa's foremost pinot noir. Rated 93 by Robert Parker - the highest for any South African pinot noir. Rated 4½* in Platter. Lovely burgundy style red. La Vierge Seduction Unwooded lighter styled pinot noir from this Walker Bay estate. Accessible and rewarding with fresh raspberry and floral tones. Enjoy slightly chilled. Platter 3.5* Other Red Varietals/Blend Cederberg Merlot Shiraz Cederberg Its fruit driven with the proportions of the blend being 75% merlot and 25% shiraz. Smooth and flavourful. Platter 3.5* Rustenberg John X Merriman Stellenbosch Widely regarded as one of South Africa's foremost and consistent Bordeaux style blends. Cab led (45%) with cab franc and merlot. Simply superb. Bon Courage White Muscadel Robertson An exciting new addition. Rated 4* in the Platter Guide. Delicious and elegant semi-sweet wine. Full sweet fruit flavours well balanced with hints of acidity in the aftertaste. Double Gold winner at The Michelangelo awards and veritas Silver Medal at the Veritas awards. Boplaas Cape Tawny Port A fiery red-brown Tawny coloured wine with flecks of olive green on the rim, the bouquet unfurls with the walnut, roast almond, honey, caramel, melange of spices, citrus, warming brandy and charred oak notes that typify Tawny.
