4 Petit Verdot Petit Verdot is famous in France for its small fruits. It offers up aromas of mostly black fruit flavours. The unique & intriguing flavours of Petit Verdot are infused with herbal & floral notes such as violet, lavender & dried herbs. Some Australian wine makers make it a little lighter & softer with smooth tannin with notes of blueberries & janina. Pinot Noir Pinot Noir is known as the queen of red wine grapes. It isn t the easiest grape to grow. It is a finicky grape to ripen, however when the right vineyard site is selected, it produces one of the finest silky smooth red wines with forest floor characters, a nose of summer berries with a palate of dark berry fruits and damson plums. Great with duck, lamb and pasta dishes, also delicious on its own.
