5 Welcome Dear Friends, The V Foundation and V Wine Celebration Boards of Directors invite you to join us for the 15th Anniversary of the V Foundation Wine Celebration. It s a fabulous weekend with abundant offerings of great wines, superb food, and the gathering together of old and new friends in the fight against cancer. To celebrate 15 years of achievements, we have created our most fabulous series of events to date! New this year is the additional night of exclusive Winery Dinners hosted by the proprietors on Thursday evening. Friday, begin your morning in luxury with a Bentley Driving Experience through the Napa Valley. In the afternoon, engage your senses with a wine exploration at a Riedel Wine Tasting. Friday night s Let s Get It Started Party will showcase our All-Stars of Research in a celebration featuring renowned restaurateurs, preeminent vintners and custom barrel auctions, followed by a high-energy performance by band and concert act David Martin s House Party. On Saturday morning we feature the Cancer Research Symposium where the nation s leading physicians and research scientists present the latest advances in cancer research. Later that afternoon, savor boutique and legendary wines with a fusion of edibles at the Innovators & Icons Marketplace. Saturday evening, guests gather together for world-class auctions and a lavish dinner at Nickel & Nickel Winery. The event begins with a wine reception and Silent & Showcase auctions, followed by our Gala Dinner, Audi Raffle and Live Auction. The night tops with a private performance by Oscar and Grammy winning rock singer and guitarist, Melissa Etheridge. The doctors discuss current advances and discoveries into clinical applications, new diagnostics and alternative treatments to cancer. By focusing on brilliant young investigators, the Board works toward accomplishing the goal of the foundation: eradicating cancer. Includes Q & A session. This enlightening symposium is open to the public. The 15th Anniversary V Foundation Wine Celebration has reserved all rooms at the Villagio Inn & Spa and its sister property, the Vintage Inn, exclusively for our weekend guests. As headquarters for the weekend, rooms at the Villagio Inn & Spa will be filled first, with priority to guests participating in both days events. We encourage you to register early to ensure availability as we expect this event to sell out. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Your reservation is not confirmed until paid in full. Tickets Ticket prices do not include accommodations.
