The Mount Washington Cog Railway, the world's first mountain-climbing cog railway, has been carrying passengers to the 6,288' summit of the Northeast's highest peak since This 3-hour journey will take you on some of the steepest railway tracks in the world. Directions: Located in the middle of North Conway Village right next to Toy Chest off Route 16. Washington on beautiful rolling carriage roads and challenging trails surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest and Northern Presidential Mountains. Our diverse system crosses beautiful fields, scenic rivers, and beaver bogs. Rent a bike or bring your own. Or just come to Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center and enjoy an easy hike with the family along gentle trails in the shadow of Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range. Directions: Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center is located on Rt. 16 in Pinkham Notch. Just 25 scenic minutes north of North Conway Village and 8 miles south of Gorham, NH. Price Point: $75.00 for 2 hours for riding bicycles, or walk or run with the family for FREE Duration: 2 Hours Lunch J-Town Deli and Country Store J-Town Deli and Country Store is an old fashion Country Store with a warm and cozy atmosphere to meet and eat at! We are right on the Jackson loop.. just across from the Thompson House Eatery and past the Wentworth. Price Point $25 Activity 2 Hike Jackson Falls During the summer, the small town of Jackson attracts hundreds of visitors to its swimming holes at

4 Jackson Falls. Early run off in the spring-time offers impressive masses of water crashing over endless boulders and rock ledges. Although Jackson Falls lacks any magnificent drops, it does contain many cascades, slides, and plunges of differing sizes. When viewing Jackson Falls from below, you are likely to have the best photo-opportunity, but beware that your photos are most likely going to have some people lounging on the rocks above. Directions: Take a left onto 16B, drive until you see The Wentworth, take a left, Jackson Falls will be on the right hand side. Price Point: FREE Duration: 1 hour Activity 3 Black Mountain Take the children up to Black Mountain for pony rides. For $15.00 a ride you can ride a pony around the parking lot at Black Mountain. Their very special pony, Tinkerbell, absolutely loves to give rides to the little ones. She s sweet, and gentle and all the kids love her. She offers rides daily from 10:30-3:30 at $15.00 a ride. Directions: Right off 16A onto Black Mountain Road go past Jackson School Price Point: $15.00 per person Red Fox Bar and Grille Steak, ribs and seafood, always grilled to perfection over an open wood fire. Directions: Just North of North Conway Village, right off of Route 16 past The Moat on the left. Price Point: $30.00 including tip Duration: 45 minutes The Conway Scenic Railroad Train Departs at 10:30 A.M. Enjoy an old-fashioned railroading experience on vintage trains, all departing from our 1874 station in North Conway Village. This is a 1 hour 45 minute round trip train ride from North Conway to Bartlett Village and back again. Directions: Located in the center of North Conway Village (Routes 16 & 302) at 38 Norcross Circle on Schouler Park. They are worth the 3-hour car ride from the city.
