4 cheese HAND MADE CHEESE Established in 2005 by Martin Moyden, Mr Moydens Handmade Cheese has fast become a well respected artisan cheese making business. This stems from a passion for quality, attention to detail and a lust for perfection. Martin was inspired by his grandmothers tales of farming and traditional ways of food production when cheese making really caught his imagination, how a simple way of preserving milk that can be traced back over 9000 years could still be used today and produce many varieties of cheese. MOY001 Wrekin White Half Cheese 2kg m Per KG Wrekin White is named after the Wrekin hill which is a prominent and well-known landmark. Matured for a minimum of 3 months, it is smooth, creamy and dotted with eyelets. Its nutty flavour and fruity aroma develops with age. The natural rind is brushed with local rapeseed oil to aid maturation. MOY002 Newport Half Cheese 2.25kg m Per KG Newport cheese is named after the Shropshire market town, in the north of the county. Matured for 3 to 4 months Newport cheese has a unique flavour derived from the Shropshire pastures where the cows graze. The rind of the Newport cheese is brushed with local rapeseed oil to aid maturation. The resulting cheese is pale tangerine in colour, Newport has a mellow buttery taste and flaky texture with a subtle aromatic sweetness. MOY003 Newport 1665 Half Cheese 2.25kg m Per KG Our award winning Newport cheese is oak smoked creating Newport 1665, which is named after the year of the great fire of Newport. The smooth buttery texture tastes light mellow and sweet. The whole wheel is cold smoked over oak chips at Bings Heath Smokery resulting in a light oak smoked flavour not detracting from the mellow sweet taste of the original Newport cheese. MOY004 Wrekin Blue Whole Cheese 2kg m Per KG The rustic natural rind encompasses the unctuous cheese inside. Mottled with blue streaks and pockets the smoky blue piquancy has a mineral like full flavour. MOY005 Caer Caradoc Half Cheese 2.25kg m Per KG Our Caer Caradoc cheese is based on a Caerphilly style of cheese which is matured for two to three months creating light and crumbly with a fresh lemon taste. MOY006 Ironbridge Blue m 1x200g Is an individual cheese truckle weighing around 200 grams. It has a natural rind and ripens to a soft oozing interior with a mild blue flavour between 5-8 weeks.

We milk our cows twice a day and we will use this milk to make our ice cream within 24 hours.
