Coffee says: We respect you, the parents and appreciate your part in making our school successful. We want to provide for you coffee an item that you would normally purchase and tastes incredible to fundraise for our cause. For our kids whom we care and love, grab a cup and support their lives with us today!
Profit Margin: $4.00 per bag You purchase the coffee for $8.00 per bag and sell it for $12.00 Which is comparable to store prices Three Types of Coffees : Dark French Roast Medium House Blend Swiss Water Decaf All Beans can be ordered whole bean or ground All sales and promotional materials are provided free. No minimum order required No money upfront required No label design fee... Our goal is to provide you a simple, profitable and fun fundraiser that can be done in a very short time. Our Heart is to promote you and your cause so when our coffee is enjoyed it will be about who you are and what you are about.
Our Coffee, Our Convictions, Our Joy What is more social than a great cup of coffee? How many times have you heard people share about their favorite blend and when they tell others it came from you, the publicity of your event, with your custom label will get all the attention. Coffee is the great me time of the day. It s that magic that motivates us to choose the right beans and roast them to perfection. It is that ahhh ooooh now that s good moments that inspires us to support the small farms and their families getting a fair price and living for the wonderful beans they grow. Now combine that with your heart for young people and the significant difference you are making and this makes a great fundraiser for good for so many.
Programs Pre-sale Program: This is the traditional program as easy as where we provide the promotional posters; brochure packets which include collection envelopes and order forms. Also provided is master order forms, teacher envelopes, tips for successful fundraising, customized parent letter and distribution bags. 1. The students take orders, collect money and after 1-2 weeks turn it in to you. 2. Call or the order to us. 3. Within 5-7 days we will have the order ready for you to pick up or to be shipped.. Monthly Order Program: This program is the same as above except you take orders for once a month delivery for the duration of the school year or what ever season you choose. With this monthly subscription method the coordinator calls in the order each month and then the students deliver it. Each month we will change the backside label on the coffee bag where you can communicate upcoming events or highlight specific developments of your cause. This method has proven to be very profitable for after the initial work is done it takes very little to continue to bring profit. Customers love the coffee and it is a treat each month it comes. Product In Hand Program: You purchase a set number of bags which the sellers have in hand and customer receives it immediately. This type of program works great for selling at events, or if you do not want to bother with delivery later on.
Program Steps 1. Choose the program that will best meet your goals 2. Give us a call or so we can set up the dates and fill out the Start Today Form. A typical fundraiser last 2 to 4 weeks Allow 5-7 days between when you call the order in and when the coffee will be delivered by the students Give the students a week to deliver the coffee logos, organization colors, photographs, wording for label design 3. Once labels have been approved by you we will send the promotional materials which include posters, student packets, collection envelopes, order forms, parent newsletter, Teacher news letter, Teacher envelopes which will be used to distribute student packets. 4. Using the Classroom Teacher envelopes provided you distribute the student packets. 5. Once the packets are distributed the sale begins. To keep the sellers excited it is important to find a variety of ways to tell of your goal and the approaching due date. 6. When the due date arrives each seller should turn in their money and orders to the fundraiser chairperson. 7. The orders are then tallied using the forms we provide. You call or us the order and we will prepare your order fresh for shipment or for you to pick up. Enclosed with the shipment is the invoice which asks that payment be made out to Puget Sound Coffee Roasters. During the time between the order being called in and delivery make out an individual student label which is provided and will help in distribution when shipment arrives. 8. When you receive the shipment, enclosed will be plastic bags using the student labels it will be quick to make up the orders to distribute. Shazam! Your done! Now sit back and enjoy a great cup of coffee and a job well done!

OUR COFFEES The fine flavors and quality is the serious trade mark of our coffee. When ever possible we use Fair Wage beans from around the world, and hand roast each batch in small portions in order to give not only the best flavor but also the freshest coffee to you every time. Of all our blends nothing speaks of true Italian flavor as our House Blend. A medium roast that is balanced by several types of beans from around the world. This coffee s smoothness with it s pleasant chocolate and buttery taste makes it a favorite for the drip coffee lovers. Our Swiss Water Decaf is an old world classic. It is a full bodied lively experience, yet gentle enough to drink all day. It s the you re telling me this is decaf coffee? Our Dark French Roast Blend is the show me the flavor coffee. It has all the power and richness a coffee bean can produce. This coffee is highly sought after by those who love, love, love the coffee flavor. The result is specialty coffee as it was intended a fuller, deeper and more intense coffee experience Then there is the art of Roasting We continually experiment with new blends, seeking out the best varieties of beans in order to bring you the finest cup of coffee. with roasting profiles, cupping's and a glint of the crazies as we seek on how to do one up on perfection. Roasting is a kick in itself, monitoring time, airflow, adjusting heat, examining the color and the way the bean changes. We consistently pull out samples of the beans as they're roasting, and listen to the different crackling stages. Each bean type has its own density and characteristics that play into perfectly roasting a batch of gourmet coffee. Consistency in roasting is to never let your guard down, take each batch as seriously as the first batch you roasted. The assurance that you will always find our coffee to be the coffee you fell in love with the first time you tried it is our goal. When Everybody Loves Coffee first started we spent a long time in finding the perfect roasting machine. It was built for us, as one of a limited amount of specialty coffee roasters by Dedrich manufacturing in Sand Point Idaho. The roaster is unique in that by using the state of the art infrared heating elements we are able to eliminate fuel byproducts that could be left on the roasted coffee beans. It was our a part of our quest to perfect each step of the roasting process so that you could enjoy the highest quality of coffee. The environment is important to us, so years ago we installed an afterburner to handle any pollutants that might inter our atmosphere.
Sacred Secret of our Coffee Our story mixed with romance, death and mystery has all the makings of a yarn from the old country. It would only be fitting then to be told in the firelight and then in a hushed tone. Stolen it was or so the story is said. Held for many years by a select few Italian roasters. The secret blends and methods were passed down to a scoundrel son who cared little for the treasure he possess. Two treasures actually, for he was married to a beautiful kind woman that he mistreated horribly. When she felt her life was at stake she fled and set sail to the "New World" and along with her came the secret coffee blends and rules of roasting. Arriving, she started her trade as she had seen it performed by her father in-law. And soon she had quite the following. For no one could figure out why her coffee was so much better then all the rest. Well, news got back to her husband of her success and having been cast out from the family he spent his last coin on a ticket to the New World. Eventually he found her small establishment and waited for her arrival in the doorway. "Thar ya be...i'm here for ya now and ya better not be giving me no grief." It was said the winds of good fortune blew her way, for right at that moment the sign above the doorway that read A Taste of the Old Country in the New, fell from it's fittings and knocked the old cuss on his bean, deader than a year old cod fish he be.oh sure, there might be some variations on how he died but that was how it was told to me. Latter in her old age she passed down the secret recipe and skills to a nephew and along the way it got to the master roaster that taught me. I can still hear his voice "It's more than coffee, it's the gift of the day. It gives happiness to the person who drinks it and brings out the best of who they are." A tad bit much? Sure that's what I thought at first. But haven't we all heard someone say "Ahhh, now that's good." And right then isn't the sparkle of the moment alive? As he roasted over and over he would ask "What do you see? What do you see? Until you can see what I see I cannot leave you alone Roberta." (the name for the roaster) "Perfection comes in the final seconds of roasting. you have to hear it, see it, smell it, so that when it comes to the taste it will all be there!" 4 Zillion beans later I was allowed to be left alone with Roberta, our roaster, it uses infrared elements to roast the beans.
Sacred Secret of our Coffee continues I was in coffee school, old country style. Terminology like Black Jack and Hard Bean. Parchment, Quakers became part of my vocabulary.i was expected to know and identify descriptive taste terms like grassy, woody, musty, rubbery. And also botany information on how and where the "trees" were planted and cultivated. And of course how to select the right green beans. Roasting terms like carmelization and pyrolsis, which is the chemical reaction of the bean, I was taught and shown in detail. I would never have dreamed that there was so much involved in coffee. Above all was the secret blends. I was told."anyone can find a blend that pleases one man. But when you have a blend that holds the hearts of the masses, now there is a coffee that transcend time". I will share with you the roasting rules modernized I'm sure from the old country, but still as seriously important. Our Old World Roast Masters Coffee Rules: 1. Don't buy junk, spend the extra money to get the best quality beans you can. Sticks and stones and shoddy beans too will never do 2. Respect each bean's difference. It's density chemistry is different every time. The way it expands and roasts, the sounds and colors each and every time, "read the bean". 3. Do a small batch roast, or not at all. You're not a concrete truck. You have to control and know what is happening every moment. 4.Sell it fresh or not at all. One old bean is one bad bean 5. Details, details, details, it's about the little things you do consistently that makes the difference in life and especially in roasting coffee. 6. Taste, my child taste! It all comes down to taste. Is it smooth, rich, and balanced? 7. It's not just about coffee. Every time a person enjoys a cup of our coffee the day gets brighter. It's what is right with the world at this moment, their moment. Well, you get the idea. The old folks are still whispering to us today, to do the things that count. "Don't forget who you are and what you stand for
