2 Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Program Celebrates 25th Anniversary, Unveils New Logo This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker program, honoring a quarter-century of cheesemaking excellence in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker program is the most rigorous, advanced training program for licensed cheesemakers, and the only one of its kind outside Europe. Since the program s inception, cheeses made by New Universal Master s Mark a Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker have earned a distinctive Master s Mark. This logo signified that experience, technical expertise and artistry went into making that cheese, and that it was from the only place in America where cheesemakers could become true Masters of their craft. In honor of the program s 25th anniversary, the Master s Mark is getting a new look. From now on, every Master Cheesemaker will have an updated universal Master s Mark. Additionally, for the first time, each Master Cheesemaker will receive a personalized More than 70 Wisconsin mark, featuring a hand-drawn sketch and signature of the Cheesemakers have Master Cheesemaker who made the cheese. These marks, completed the Wisconsin alongside the Proudly Wisconsin Cheese logo, showcase Master Cheesemaker the specialty nature and true craftsmanship that can only program since its inception come from cheeses made in Wisconsin. in 1994 many of them multiple times to earn Master s certification in numerous cheese varieties. 1 SPOTLIGHT ON Carr Valley Cheese Company is a fourth-generation owner-operated company led by Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Sid Cook.
