Thinktank is a place where the historic and ultramodern come alive. We are the only venue in the Midlands where your delegates can enjoy their canapés under the wings of a Spitfire, or dine alongside a talking robot. But it s not just about the amazing space we have to offer. Organising a function can be stressful, so we re here to make it as easy for you as possible. 4 EVENT SUITE Hiring the Event Suite gives you your own dedicated entrance plus a reception area to meet and greet your guests. The space itself offers 300m 2 of flexible, blank canvas space. You can use our partition walls to divide the space into one, two or three areas. We offer inbuilt AV and projectors in two of the spaces. Complimentary WiFi for you and your guests comes as standard. If you need something more complex, we ve got great specialist suppliers on hand that can bring in additional equipment if you require. What s more, the Event Suite is situated next to the Futures Gallery. Perfect for your arrival refreshments, some lunchtime inspiration or an extra special drinks reception at the end of a hard day s work. For large presentations the Thinktank Theatre offers a great alternative, and with projection on to three screens within the auditorium your guests will be thoroughly engaged and immersed in your presentation. You ll have use of our projectors, microphones and sound system to get the very best from your event. Plus, with technical support throughout your event, it ll be smooth sailing for you and your guests. PLANETARIUM A 69 seat digital planetarium with luxury seating. This one is dedicated to the industrial heritage of Birmingham, complete with steam engines, cars and trains plus great views of our Spitfire and Hurricane planes. We can accommodate dining on this floor for up to 200 people or drinks receptions for 350. A fascinating and unusual space to entertain! THE FUTURE GALLERY This gallery showcases space exploration, robots and even scientists predictions for the future. Here your guests can take their inspiration from the latest technology, or get to grips with innovative inventions. The space can accommodate dining for up to 50 people or drinks receptions for 150 guests. You can even start your event with breakfast in this gallery to spark your delegates imagination and set the tone for a unique and inspiring day!
