2 Our Ethos At The Bieldside Inn, our service is about flexibility, originality and speciality, and we hope you will find our range of services reflect this. We are delighted to host a wide range of different events and our experienced staff will ensure it is successful. Our Function Suite We have a bright and spacious function suite capable of creating the perfect atmosphere for any event. Our suite has lot of natural daylight, a full bar, controllable air conditioning, flexible lighting, direct access to our car park and boasts high quality electrical equipment. Where to Eat You may choose to dine in our restaurant or have a buffet served in the room. Our restaurant offers high quality, locally sourced produce and caters to all dietary requirements in relaxed and informal surroundings. Smaller Functions Lunch and other meal breaks can be taken outside the room, in a separate private area of our bar. What to Eat Attached you will find buffet sample menus from our chefs, plus alternative menu selections which can be served in the location of your choice. For Standing Up... Choose a selection from our canapé menu and, if you prefer, we can arrange a private area in our bar. Drinks We have an extensive wine list. If these do not suit, let us know what you would prefer, and with a bit of notice (1 week minimum), we ll get it for you. Still or Sparkling Water 4.50 per 1 litre bottle Orange Juice 5.50 per jug 1
3 Room Hire Our room hire charges for any event, unless on a specific package, are as follows: Full Day Hire (12 hours) Half Day Hire (6 hours) Sunday - Thursday From From Friday & Saturday From From If a party o f 15 or mor e are using the room fo r private dining, we will not request th e room hir e charge for the event. 2
4 25.00 per delegate includes: Day Delegate Package room hire two servings of tea and coffee soup and sandwich lunch complimentary water projector and digital screen complimentary high speed, wireless internet access delegate stationary, pens and place cards minimum of 6 delegates required for delegate packages Add-on s: additional tea and coffee, 2 per person bacon or egg rolls, 2.50 per person jugs of fruit juice, 5.50 per jug Equipment hire: Any additional equipment we are unable to provide ourselves can be arranged for you through a local audio visual company charged at their rental price with no additional cost from us. Day Delegate Light Buffet Lunch We change our menu regularly to keep it fresh and, of course, for a bit of variety for your delegates. If you find it s not to your liking, or have an idea of what you would like, just give us a shout and we ll do whatever we can to suit your tastes. Working Lunch: 9.00 per person Soup of the day served with a selection of sandwiches and chunky chips. 3
5 Booking Terms & Conditions Before booking your event with us. please read through our terms and conditions: All bookings are regarded as provisional until we receive written confirmation by letter or along with a deposit. We must receive confirmation and any pre order a minimum of 7 days before your event. If numbers fall below the minimum required for a package or menu, the minimum number cost will still be charged. The deposit will be charged at 10% of the estimated total for the event or the room hire charge. The deposit amount is at the discretion of the manager. The deposit can be taken by card over the phone or by , by cheque or with a manager at the venue by payment of your choice. Full payment will be required on the day of the event. Menus may be subject to price alteration if circumstances out with our control dictate this. We do not allow any food or drink to be supplied by any party other than ourselves without a manager s authorisation. If you decide that you would like to bring any food or drink, a manager may authorise this with an amount charged per person or at an increased room hire rate. If you would like to decorate the room please do not use any pins or confetti.
