As always (I ve taken other cooking classes), it was superbly entertaining, educational and especially fun. Take advantage of the Chef s catering expertise as well. You will be impressed Good Life Kitchen in Norwell catered our bank holiday event - SPECTACULAR!!! We provided short notice and then doubled our order 2 days prior to the event. Chef Bernard and Ken provided a very reasonably priced menu which was beautifully displayed. The food was delicious and the service outstanding, inclusive of efficient set up and removal. Good Life Kitchen offers a facility for culinary enthusiasts to explore the arts of cooking and healthy living in an atmosphere that fosters creativity and the development of relationships. Mission Statement GLK s mission is to establish a culinary center designed with the intent to conduct educational cooking classes. The learning environment will reflect a traditional classroom set up with the capacity for hands-on instruction as well as demonstration style sessions. Check out our Cafe & Catering! 69 Water Street, Hingham MA Look Who s Coming to GLK Olivier Rigaud Chef Olivier Rigaud was born and raised in the Provence region of France where he began cooking at a young age. Chef Olivier earned his Bachelor s degree from Lesdiguiere in Grenoble, France and worked in a two star Michilin restaurant in his home town village of Les Angles. Chef Olivier has worked in a variety of restaurants and hotels in France, Switzerland, England, and Boston, including the Ritz Carlton, Boston Harbor Hotel, Brasserie Jo, Top Of The Hub, and is currently the Executive Chef at The Fours in Norwell. Chef Olivier hopes to instill his passion for food, cooking, and all things French in those around him. Martha Timke With a degree in culinary arts Martha Timke has been a professional chef for nearly 20 years and teaching culinary arts for 10. For the last 7 years she has enjoyed a full-time position as an instructor in and the Academic Supervisor for the Pastry Program at The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. She has taught culinary classes at Bristol Community College, Blue Hills Regional, Newbury College, and Crittenton Hastings House. Chef Timke was the Executive Pastry Chef at The Catered Affair and has been a pastry and culinary chef at a variety of establishments throughout the Boston area. Alison Demadis Alison Demadis has an array of culinary and nutrition experience spanning from Chef at Canyon Ranch Spa to her catering company in Connecticut. She currently does work with the Dept. of Defense as a Food Technologist and Nutrition Specialist creating recipes and doing nutritional analysis for the Armed Forces. Adam Centamore Adam Centamore is a professional educator who conducts private and corporate cheese and wine tasting experiences, with the goal of sharing the pure enjoyment of these foods. He is certified by the Elizabeth Bishop Wine Program, and is a member of the French Wine Society and Society of Wine Educators. He is also the Maitre d Fromage for the Boston chapter of the Chevalier du Tastevin, a prestigious French wine society. By day, Adam works and teaches at Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, a world-renowned cheese importer featuring artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and condiments from Europe and the United States. Adam enjoys eating, drinking, and talking about it! Ken Wisneski With over 40 years of restaurant experience, Chef Ken has had the opportunity to work with some top chefs, notably Emeril Legasse in New Orleans French Quarter. After the return from New Orleans chef Ken opened Cherrywood Barbecue where he brought his Bold New England flavors and Stirred the Pot with old-school New Orleans cooking. Chef Ken is now here at GLK as our Catering Manager and Cooking Instructor where once again is bringing his favorite foods to the South Shore.
