5 Tournament Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS Do you allow tournaments on the weekend? Yes, we welcome tournaments on any day of the week, excluding holiday and holiday weekends. What days do you consider to be weekend days? For purposes of tournament planning and pricing, we consider Monday-Wednesday (excluding holidays) to be weekdays, and Thursday-Sunday to be weekend days. Tournaments are not permitted on holidays. How many players must there be in my event in order for it to be considered a tournament? You must confirm and guarantee payment for a minimum of 24 players (this excludes non-golf participates) in order to receive tournament pricing and other considerations. How do I guarantee a tournament date and starting time? Simply by signing the tournament agreement and then paying the prescribed confirming deposit. Once both items are in-hand, your tournament date and starting time is guaranteed. What is the deposit amount required to secure a tournament date? Estimated No. of Players Deposit Required $ $ players $1,250 The tournament deposit is actually a pre-payment. You will receive 100% credit towards the total cost of your event on the day of the event. Is there anything else I must do in order to guarantee my event at Heritage Golf Links? Yes, in addition, you will be required to register a major credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX) with us. It will be kept on file and may be used as a guarantee for collection guaranteed payments. If your event has more attendees than the guaranteed forecast, you will be expected to pay the difference in costs on the day of the event. Heritage Golf Links does not provide refunds for actual attendee fewer than contracted guaranteed number of attendees. Are pre-tournament deposits/payments refundable? Yes, pre-tournament payments are partially refundable and 100% transferable. For complete details, please refer to terms and conditions provided in the HGL tournament agreement. What services and amenities are included in the tournament fee? Just about everything you need to host a successful golf event, excluding food and beverages. See Golf Tournament and Outing Information. Does Heritage Golf Links offer food and beverage service to support my tournament? Yes, we offer compete food and beverage services. 6 Does Heritage Golf Links provide logo d apparel and other items for tee gifts? Yes, we offer all merchandise that will make your event fun and memorable. For more information, contact Michael Ehmke, Director of Sales. Do you allow outside catering and/or donated food and beverages? No, Heritage Golf Links has a full service restaurant and bar that can accommodate all of food and beverage needs. Will the golf course be reserved exclusively for our use during scheduled tournament date and time? If your event guarantees 144 players or more, you will enjoy total exclusivity of the golf course during the golf playing portion of your event. If you don t guarantee 144 players, Heritage Golf Links reserves the right to utilize its golf course in a manner that enhances its overall utilization rate on the day of your golf event. Are we allowed to post signage at the clubhouse and golf course? Yes, please feel free to use signage in order to complement your golf tournament efforts. Placement of signage on the golf course and throughout the golf practice facilities must be pre-approved. Do you provide rental clubs? Yes, we can accommodate any number of rental needs.
