This children s event will take place on Saturday, December 2 from 10am to noon. A kid friendly buffet will be provided. Children 3 and under eat free. Ages 3 thru 12 - $7.00 each. Adults - $11.00 each. Professional pictures with Santa will be printed ON SITE. These 4x6 prints will have a copyright release form for submission for any type of printing you may want. In addition, Family portrait sittings will also be available. Annual Christmas Cocktail Party GCC will host our annual Christmas Cocktail Party on Saturday, December 2 from 6pm to 10pm. Please save the date of this great social event which will feature complimentary hors d oeuvres and Happy Hour prices on cocktails. Babysitting will not be provided. For reservations, call A Note from Ben Abel, General Manager A special thank you to all our members and staff this 2017 season. It s been a very busy year and a year of significant growth. We have seen an increase in involvement through the Appreciation Events and plan to continue these throughout the 2018 year. The 2017 year will end with special events for children and adults. A sincere thank you for all those that participated in the Annual Employee Christmas Fund. Your donation is greatly appreciated. I hope each of you have a safe and joyful holiday season. 2 Message from the Pro - Euggie Jones Happy Holidays! On behalf of the entire golf staff, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We will offer some great deals in the golf shop for the month of December. All short sleeve shirts are 25% off, golf bags are 15% off and all golf clubs in stock are 25% off. Come out and take advantage of these great deals while they last! Also, I am offering specials on lesson packages for players of all skill levels. Lessons make great stocking stuffers and will last all throughout the season is right around the corner and there are several opportunities for you at the club. Our amenities include locker, bag storage, family and individual range plans and our VSGA/USGA handicapping system. Call the golf shop in January and we can sign you up! FYI... Our winter guest fees are $40 which includes cart and greens fees. This rate will be effective from November 1st - March 1st. You may also wear denims on the golf course during this time. Pro shop hours will be: Monday through Friday, 9-4 and Saturday and Sunday, 8-4 from December through February. Please call to make a tee time and be aware of frost delays. Our 2018 tournament and outing schedule will be out in early February. Mark your calendars and try to play in as many GCC events as possible! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! GCC Ladies Golf Christmas Dinner Our Ladies Golf Association (LGA) is quickly approaching. It will be held Dec. 7, 6:00 pm. The LGA is extending this invitation to any lady who has participated in the past or would like to participate in the future. 3 From the Pro, Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all our GCC Family for helping make 2017 another successful year on the courts. I am very fortunate to have such AMAZ- ING support for our GCC Tennis Program and for the opportunity to spend my days with such wonderful families. I would also like to Thank Ben, Sarah, Judy, Euggie, Santiago, Jacob and all the Figaredo s Staff for their tireless commitment to GCC and helping make it the BEST Private Club in our area. Thanks as well to Diane Stickley & Jim Barker for all their help with the Jr. Tennis Program and to Ben Harrell & Roger Reynolds (Tennis Committee) for their continued support 2017 VHSL Girls Tennis State Champions and efforts to GCC and our Tennis Program. I hope that all of you have a Wonderful Holiday Season and I am looking forward to a GREAT 2018 of Tennis at AHS Lady Falcons GCC.
