3 Wines by the Glass Ataraxia Sauvignon Blanc R70 This wine has minerality ahead of pure, pungent fruit, but still has alluring white stone fruit, citrus and lemon grass aromas. The wine has a lively acidity which underpins a classy structure and succulent texture. A wine of substantial poise, length and charm. Iona Sauvignon Blanc R95 Underlying herbal and floral notes are dominated by tropical fruit, white grapefruit and kiwi fruit aromas. The palate shows balance with flavours of lime marmalade and sliced apples, offset by delicious minerality and a lengthy finish. Mulderbosch Chardonnay R75 Slight notes of frangipani, spiced oak, ripe apricots and almonds thread through the flavour profile of this richly layered wine. Its creamy texture is wonderfully offset by fresh minerality notes that lingers on the finish. Springfield Wild Yeast (Unwooded) R90 A deliciously complex and fruit-focussed wine, presents itself with tropical fruit aromas that reveal notes of ripe pineapple and pear on the palate, a complex wine with a refine texture. Blackwater Chenin Blanc R65 Classy, fresh Chenin with layers of crisp summer fruits of melon and apple leads to a long bracing finish Kaapzicht Kliprug Chenin Blanc R90 Wonderful sun-ripe yellow fruit with crunchy apple, fresh pineapple and a lick of oak. The palate is medium bodied and fresh, with fleshy texture. A rich fruited core of fruit on the mid-palate builds to a crisp, dry finish. Zevenwacht The Tin Mine White Blend R70 Ripe and exotic, a distinctive, spicy wine that is rich and subtly oaked, with a slight aroma of roasted almonds. The Chardonnay gives superb limecitrus flavours; the Viognier lends a delicate perfume of dried peaches and apricots while the Roussanne and Chenin round things off. Simonsig Gewürztraminer R70 Attractive notes of white Turkish delight and rose petals. Succulent notes of litchi and pear on the palate. The acidity and various elements of fruit creates a synergy of lingering fruit aromas on the palate. Babylonstoren Rosé R75 Strawberry yoghurt on the palate with candy-floss finish and fresh acidity for a delicious, lingering mouth-feel. Cederberg Rosé Graceful strawberry, watermelon and candy floss delight the nose. Upon tasting, a dry entry is revealed, leading to a creamy palate and a zesty aftertaste. R60 Springfield Wholeberry R85 Cabernet Sauvignon The wine has a velvety-smooth texture with soft tannins and typical Cabernet Sauvignon notes of red fruits and hints of cedar Uva Mira The Mira R105 Cabernet Sauvignon An attractive bouquet with excellent fruit expression of fresh cassis and red cherries with mineral notes, fynbos and classic tobacco leaf. A fine example of sophistication and elegance showing complexity and depth of flavour with dry, silky tannins and perfectly integrated oak. Utterly complete and balanced with superb fruit, lovely savoury nuances, a slight creaminess in texture and earthiness that lingers.

These flavours follow seamlessly on the palate with a bold, yet refined tannin profile Boschenkloof Syrah R80 R95 Complex and attractive bouquet of oriental spices with typical Shiraz smoked ham and white pepper flavours. Well balanced wine with spicy type plum and berry fruit flavours and peppery overtones that finishes with soft round tannins. Diemersfontein Pinotage When it comes to coffee notes, the mocha nose of this wine is complemented by lovely dark chocolate and baked plums, is juicy and plump with soft tannins.. The nose translates onto the palate with the unmistakeable coffee as well as undertones of caramelised banana and blackcurrant making an appearance on the mid-palate. Grangehurst Pinotage R80 R110 A fruit-focused profile of the wine, complementing the distinctive red berry varietal character of the Pinotage to deliver a fuller palate with a lingering spicy finish., slightly sweet notes of raspberry which intertwine with spiced oak and savoury characteristics. Meinhert Merlot R90 Bold flavours of upfront berry fruit and enticing dried herb aromas that perform with weighty intensity on the nose and palate. Studded with round, supple tannins, the mid-palate displays generous warmth with a luxurious mouth-filling quality. Thelema Merlot The wine shows bright, red fruit and hints of spice on the nose, with concentrated flavours on the palate and soft, polished tannins. Hints of dark chocolate complete this wonderfully balanced wine Paul Cluver Village Pinot Noir R105 R75 Beautiful aromas of red fruits intermingle with roasted spices followed by a delicious, elegant silky palate of poached ripe plums resulting in medium bodied wine with soft edges. Crafted for drinking now, it has the structure and fruit to be enjoyed for two years and beyond. Rustenberg John X Merriman R115 (Bordeaux Blend) It exhibits delightful blackcurrant, dark fruit and cassis notes collaborating with sour cherry and cigar tobacco characters. The powdery tannins will soften and a more savoury palate will reveal itself, creating much complexity. La Motte Millenuim (Bordeaux Blend) R70 The nose of the wine displays a dusty earthiness with mulberry and raspberry fruit, cinnamon spice and just a dash of mint. Upon first tasting, the wine is succulent and velvety on the palate. A strong mid-palate is revealed that is medium in body. Each sip ends in a dry, mineral fashion with a persistent finish.
