2 Bimbadgen Corporate Events Located high on a hill in Pokolbin, the heart of the spectacular Hunter Valley wine region, Bimbadgen is a striking winery and vineyard, with a name that refers to its spectacular surrounds derived from a local indigenous term meaning a place of good view. In an area renowned for its fine wines, Bimbadgen offers a complete tourism experience supplementing our award-winning restaurant and contemporary cellar door with an open plan winemaking facility, private tasting, dining, function and conference rooms, an outdoor amphitheatre, and private accommodation which sleeps up to twelve. Our restaurant, Esca Bimbadgen, showcases Bimbadgen wine with contemporary Australian cuisine that exemplifies high quality and culinary innovation, while our expansive Cellar Door and Private Tasting Room are located below the restaurant, and cater for small and large groups with ease. 3 Dining and Corporate Event Catering Esca Bimbadgen Restaurant Esca Bimbadgen restaurant is a modern, spacious area with breathtaking views rolling out from the veranda to the horizon. The Esca Dining Room can accommodate groups as small as three, or as large as 110 guests. Groups of 25 or fewer can also be hosted in the Esca Private Dining Room. Esca Bimbadgen offers a variety of menu options for lunch and dinner, including A La Carte, Table d hote (an excellent option for groups) and Degustation; and also offers High Tea and Canape packages. All dining menus can be served with matched wines, to take the guess work out of selecting the perfect drop. Esca Bimbadgen is open for lunch daily from 12 midday, and for dinner Wednesday - Saturday from 6pm. Esca Bimbadgen restaurant can be opened any evening by appointment for corporate events. 4 Conference and Meeting Spaces The Esca Dining Room The Esca Dining Room is an elegantly appointed and spacious area with breathtaking views out to the horizon, and is ideal area for large scale conferences, presentations and launches. Minimum spends are required to book the restaurant exclusively during lunch or dinner service. Maximum capacity 110 guests The Esca Private Dining Room The Esca Private Dining Room is an exclusive space situated adjacent to the Esca Dining Room. With its own semi-enclosed balcony, blackout blinds, and private access bar and staff, the Esca Bimbadgen Private Dining Room is an excellent choice for smaller groups. Maximum capacity 25 guests The Bunker Private Dining Room The Bunker offers an intimate space full of old world character. A great choice for small groups, the Bunker is set up in a classic boardroom style, with easy access to the full range of facilities within Bimbadgen. Maximum capacity 24 guests The Homestead Lounge Set within our private accommodation, the Homestead Lounge offers a casual meeting space for small groups, and is ideal for guests staying on site. 8 Group Activities Bimbadgen Cellar Door The Bimbadgen Cellar Door can host a range of activities such as wine tastings and team building group activities. Wine appreciation games - a selection of games to get taste buds attune to the Bimbadgen wine varieties - are a popular choice for groups. Customsied Activity Options Allow our professional events team to organise activities for your group - whether focused on team building, increasing knowledge, or pure enjoyment! From a leisurely round of golf to an adrenalin pumping afternoon of paintball, an interactive cooking lesson to a motorised Segway tour, our team have the knowledge and contacts to ensure your event is one that attendees will remember. HVE Wine Games Harvest Games Provide a great interactive element to casual dinner events in the Hunter Valley the activities are fun based wine games that complement the destination well! The games can be set up in a fun fashion, outdoors at the Bimbadgen Winery. Engaging and encouraging games facilitators spruik from the games stations to entice guests to get involved! Guests casually have a go at the different game stations, or team rotations can be organised. Socially competitive elements can be included, with points being awarded for various levels of achievement. Spot prizes can also be awarded such as Best Stomper, Best Tosser and Best Spitter. Cost per person: people $55.00 per person incl. GST people $50.00 per person incl. GST Wine Blending Activity A night of great wine, fabulous food and some spirited competition! Team members collaborate to blend a red wine to be judged by the winemaking team at Bimbadgen. The Challenge takes place in the centre of the Bimbadgen Winery - surrounded by stainless steel tanks you will feel like the winemaker as you test, taste and determine what will make the winning blend. After the awarding of the Winemakers Medals for the wining team, guests make their way upstairs for a fabulous meal in the award-winning Esca Bimbadgen. Cost per person: $ per person including GST based on a minimum of 30 people Pre-Dinner Wine Games at Bimbadgen An interactive pre-dinner activity celebrating the great wines of Bimbadgen Winery. Guests enjoy a welcome and introductory wine tasting games session in the Cellar Door of Bimbadgen Winery. Guests are invited to work (and drink) together in teams, with some pre-dinner wine evaluation games where they move around the area, facing a variety of wine evaluation challenges. 9 Accommodation Situated within the tranquil Bimbadgen Winery grounds and nestled amongst the vines, our luxury four-bedroom Homestead and two-bedroom Cottage are both available for booking your Hunter Valley conference. Both residences are fully self-contained, or can be booked together for larger groups. Bimbadgen Homestead Our very popular Homestead accommodation offers spacious accommodation with three double bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, and a spacious master bedroom upstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, with tea, coffee, and light breakfast items available for guests. The large open-plan living area can be used as a casual meeting space for small groups, and also contains an open fireplace, TV/CD/DVD, and full-size billiard table. Large windows allow for guests to take in the panoramic views over the vineyard and to experience the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding area. Bimbadgen Cottage The Bimbadgen Cottage contains two double bedrooms, kitchen, dining and lounge area offering panoramic views. The lounge area is equipped with CD stereo and TV/DVD, while the kitchen is fully equipped, offering tea, coffee, and light breakfast items for guests. light breakfast items and tea/coffee making facilities are available for guests.
