19 GENERAL INFORMATION GENERAL INFORMATION Guaranteed Guest Count In arranging private food and beverage functions, the final attendance must be received no later than three business days prior to your function. You will be billed at the contracted number listed in your agreement or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater. Service Charge All food and beverage prices and room rental are subject to a 22% service charge and applicable sales tax. Room Assignments The hotel reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions in meeting and banquet rooms and/or menu selections based on actual reservations and/or final banquet guarantee. Room rental is subject to a 22% service charge and applicable sales tax. Deposits and Payments An initial deposit of 25% of projected revenue is required upon signing of the contract. A second deposit of 25% is required 90 days prior to the event date. The remaining balance is due ten business days prior to the event date. Payment can be made by credit card, personal check, or certified check. The hotel requires a valid credit card to keep on file, for guarantee purposes. Buffet Meals All of our buffets have a 25 person minimum attendance. Should a party of less than the required minimum wish to have a buffet, the minimum will be charged to the party. The hotel does not allow for any food or beverage to be removed from the property. All food service is provided for 90 minutes of replenishment with the exception of the hors d oeuvres menu. After 90 minutes, an additional charge will be required. HOTEL POLICIES (1) The hotel does not permit outside food or beverage on the premises. (2) The hotel recommends its in-house A/V department. (3) Signs and banners are not allowed in public areas; signs in meeting space must be professionally printed (placement and posting approved by the hotel). Nothing may be posted, attached or adhered to walls without permission. Adhesive stickers or labels are strictly prohibited. (4) The hotel s logo, trademark, name, etc., may not be used by the group without prior written permission of the hotel. (5) No sound, phone, electrical, lighting, or mechanical equipment can be installed or operated by anyone other than hotel personnel.
