DoDEA schools hav bgun th transition to CCR standards in mathmatics and litracy in a phasd approach and will b implmntd ovr th nxt fiv yars. As w bgin this multiyar, phasd transition, w do so with accss to nationally dvlopd rsourcs of ducation partnrs in stat ducation systms across th Unitd Stats. For DoDEA, significant chang with rgard to Collg and Carr Rady Standards will b incrasing math xpctations for all studnts in grads K-12 and math high school graduation rquirmnts. Collg and carr rady standards ar dsignd to b rlvant to th ral world, allow studnts to mastr mor critical-thinking and uniqu problm-solving skills, and to rflct th knowldg, skills and social foundations that our studnts nd for succss in both collg and work. For DoDEA studnts, th implmntation of collg and carr rady (CCR) standards in th aras of mathmatics and litracy sts a foundation for vn gratr studnt succss and growth. Th CCR standards, basd in larg part on th Common Cor Stat Standards (CCSS), st grad-by-grad larning xpctations for studnts in grads K-12. This supports a cohsiv ducation for th highly-mobil military-connctd studnt.
