1 35 Food trucks to follow Wednesday, October 15th, 2014 By Tamsin Green As the sun makes its overdue appearance we are ecstatic to welcome back one of our favourite things about summer the food trucks. With a new addition popping up on every busy corner, there s no reason to skip lunch ever again. From old favourites like the Limoncello truck to feisty newbies like Didi s Bitchin Burritos, we list the food trucks you just have to follow this season. Cape Town The Baguette Bicycle On the menu: Gourmet sandwiches and soft pretzels. Popular haunts: First Thursdays in the CBD on the first Thursday of every month; House of Machines on Friday evenings. 5 The Good Life food truck Inside & You re Out On the menu: Mobile burger joint serving up a variety of delicious burgers made with 100% grass fed meat. Selection includes Un-Brie_lievable (brie cheese, chorizo, cashew nuts and coriander), Whiskey Braaibecue (oak-smoked bacon, butter avocado, rocket and whiskey Braaibecue sauce, Poach your blues (patty filled with blue cheese and topped with winesoaked poached pear, watercress and basil mayo), and the Hell o Portobello (slow-roasted Portobello mushroom filled with thyme, garlic and feta topped with red and yellow peppers, rocket and basil mayo).
