Most of this club's members originated from Gottschee, Austria and Germany. The cozy atmosphere combined with excellent home-cooked meals prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary, entertainment by ethnic German dance groups, and great music all make the Alpine Club a very popular choice. This hall was the 1999 winner of the "Gastfreundschaft Award" for German Clubs & the "Gemuetlichkeit Award" winner in Neat, casual dress.
