Friday, April 6, 2018 Retro Cocktail Party Welcome Reception The Irish Cottage Boutique Hotel at The Auld Dubliner Lounge - 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The 1960s knew how to throw a party! From retro hors d oeuvres to vintage cocktails, our welcome reception is a blast from the past. Mid-century modern memories will come flooding back as you munch on appetizers (you secretly adore) and sip time-traveling cocktails. Want to dress the part? Plaid sports coats, pencil skirts and sweater sets optional! The Classics Italian Dinner Vinny Vanucchi s Little Italy - 8:00 to 10:30 p.m. Shuttle service provided. Throughout the 1950s and 60s Italian food was becoming a part of the American diet. Italian immigrants and their ancestors had adapted the old country recipes to the ingredients which were plentiful in their new country. These classic Italian American dishes have influenced the way Americans eat and have been embraced nationwide into America s food culture. The menu varies daily and may include Scrambled Eggs, Tipperary Toast; Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit Quiche; or Pancake-Crepe. To complete the meal, we offer fresh baked scones, granola, English muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk and juice.
