2 WEDDINGS & CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS 2020 Congratulations on your engagement! Thank you for your interest in holding your big day at we d love to hear your ideas on how you would like things to be and do hope we can be a part of it and help you make it everything you both are dreaming of. As I am sure you are starting to discover, there is a lot to be done so I just wanted to start by letting you know that should you need a hand with anything outside of our venue and catering remit, we have an abundance of brilliant suppliers and key contacts within the industry that we can call upon. Now back to the main event, enclosed are some sample menus and drinks packages for you but as I say, they are simply samples and so if you have other thoughts about what you might like, do say, but I hope at least these give you an indication of cost, provide some inspiration and your mouth starts to water a little! When it comes to all the other bits and pieces such as the white tablecloths, china, cutlery, glasses and napkins and the like, it s within our menu cost and this includes all the things that, if you like just appear and just happen, including the provision of a silver cake knife, an easel for your table plan, use of our red carpet for during your ceremony, connection to our ipod dock for background music, use of our 10 round tables with up to 100 dining chairs and a built in and fully staffed bar. It also includes a member of our senior team who will oversee your very special day and there will also be plenty of chefs and waiting staff that will all muck in. There are minimum spends in place for weddings at The Old Lodge to include sole use of the Panoramic Restaurant, Panel Room and Garden Decking. These can be built up of The Old Lodges ceremony fee, your wedding breakfast, table drinks and anything else we can provide for you on your special day. The cost on Monday - Thursday is 1,000, on a Friday is 3,500 and on a Saturday is 5,000. For exclusive use of The Old Lodge (closed completely to the public) a 12,000 minimum spend will need to be reached. Minimum spends exclude accommodation and over the bar sales. There are just a couple of other things I d like to mention firstly, we have 3 beautifully licensed areas for ceremonies to take place at The Old Lodge. The panoramic restaurant with views across the Five Valleys, our smaller, more intimate panel room or outside under our licensed pagoda (weather permitting!) and finally, we have 6 bespoke en-suite bedrooms, so at the end of the day you can retire to our sumptuous bridal room, sink into a blissful, much needed sleep and wake to gorgeous views across Common. 3 YOUR DAY, YOUR WAY We have three beautifully licensed areas for civil ceremonies or civil partnerships to take place at The Old Lodge. The panoramic restaurant with views across the Five Valleys, our smaller, more intimate panel room or outside under our licensed pagoda. MON-FRI SATURDAY Panel Room (seats 20) Panoramic Restaurant (seats 100) Garden Pagoda (seats 100) Our fee covers the hire and setting up of the ceremony room and the provision of a meeting room for you both to meet the registrars, individually, prior to the ceremony. Please note this fee is not inclusive of the registrar fee. The local registrar is required and can be contacted on Information and current charges payable to the registry office can be found at; ACCOMMODATION At the end of you day, you and your guests can retire to our six en-suite bedrooms. They all come with beautiful furnishings, luxury linen and a bath or power shower. After a much needed sleep wake to gorgeous views across the Five Valleys and join family and friends over a delicious breakfast served in our breakfast room. SUN-THURS FRIDAY SATURDAY Rooms 1 & 4 (superior dbl) Rooms 2, 3 & 6 (standard dbl) Room 5 (small dbl) TABLE LINEN & CHAIR COVERS White table linen and napkins are included; we can order coloured linen to match your colour scheme for an additional charge. Chair covers with a choice of coloured sash are available at 3.75 per chair. Colour charts are available at your request. EVENING ENTERTAINMENT In the evening the panoramic restaurant transforms into a spectacular venue for an evening reception for up to 150 guests. Our wooden dance floor coupled with our dimmed lighting provides an excellent space for your guests to dance the night away, whether it s with our in-house DJ for , or your chosen external band or DJ. Please note that no food, other than the sweet wedding cake, can be brought onto the premises unless supplied by The Old Lodge.

The cash bar will be staffed until midnight with last orders at 11.30pm. If the bar is to remain open after, extensions are available upon request at an additional cost.

11 TERMS AND CONDITIONS A provisional booking can be held for 28 days before we will require a deposit from you. This allows time to co- ordinate other wedding details, which may affect your chosen date. Should another customer request the date that you have provisionally held we will contact you and ask that a deposit is paid early to secure the date. 1. To secure your booking we will require a signed copy of your booking terms and conditions, together with a non-refundable deposit of All bookings will require a 25% of the total estimated wedding cost to be paid no later than 10 weeks after the deposit in order to confirm the booking. This payment will not be refunded and is not transferable weeks prior to the wedding 50% of the estimated balance will be due weeks prior to the wedding day all agreed outstanding balance must be paid in full. 5. We must receive final numbers 4 weeks prior accompanied by all guests food choices and table plan. 6. Settlements of any extras incurred on the day must be paid before departure. WRITTEN CONFIRMATION AND FINAL NUMBERS All reservations are considered provisional and are subject to release until confirmation has been received. Only upon receipt of a booking fee and a signed booking conditions will the reservation be considered as confirmed. Room confirmation, menu choices, wine choices and final numbers are required no later than two weeks prior to the event and set menus are required for parties of more than 16 guests. INSURANCES AND DAMAGES We accept no responsibility what so ever for loss or damage to individual s possessions whilst in the property, additionally, wilful damage to the property will be charged for. Insurance is strongly recommended when engaging in activities organised by subcontractors. We request that your party is respectful and considers those future guests who wish to find the Lodge in pristine condition for their event. DEPOSITS To make a confirmed booking, a signed copy of our event booking conditions and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the final estimated invoice are required; a receipt will then be issued on request. For wedding functions a 500 deposit is required no later than 28 days after the provisional booking is taken and 25% of the final balance no later than 10 weeks after provisional booking was made. PAYMENT Any remaining balance must be settled 4 weeks prior to the event taking place. Credit facilities are not available for private individuals. Payment can be made by Cash, Credit/Debit cards or cheques made payable to The Old Lodge. CANCELLATION CHARGES All cancelled function bookings will incur a charge, these are as follows: 90days cancellation 50%, 60 days cancellation notice 75% and 30 days at 100%. Charges will be calculated upon the estimated final invoice, including any accommodation booked. A wide range of event insurances are available, we strongly recommend this is considered. Please be aware that if we do not receive a signed copy of the booking conditions on confirmation, your booking will still be considered provisional and may be cancelled if we receive another enquiry, therefore it is imperative that you return a signed copy with your deposit.
