11 Introduction Indian Recipes In our Indian recipe section you will find a list of recipes that is all about the flavor and the aroma of the meal. These recipes are packed with a wide variety of spices that once combined with each other make a memorable, unique taste like no other. These coconut chutney recipes combine the tastes of grated coconut, mustard seeds, red chilies, and curry leaves for a side dish that can accompany any Indian main dish. Chicken tikka masala that combines the flavors of garlic, ginger, garam masala, cardamom, cumin, paprika, and chili powder for a recipe so flavorful you will be making it again and again. Here you will find traditional Indian food recipes like pannier and pannier with spinach. We also have a recipe for your own garam masala spice recipe so you are sure to get that great traditional Indian flavor in your meals every time. Our garam masala recipes includes

12 xiv the following aromatic spices, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, peppercorns, cloves, and ground cloves. We also have a recipe for ghee which is a traditional butter type ingredient that is used in traditional Indian cooking. It offers a bold, nutty flavor that regular butter cannot offer. We will also be adding more Indian recipes soon. In the coastal areas of India, fish and other seafoods are hot favorites. They are either fried, or made as curry or preserved as pickles. They are dried in the sun and preserved using salt for future use also. Generally, fish dishes are healthier than other non-vegetarian foods. Seafood recipes are so numerous because there are so many flavors that go so well with seafood. There are also many types of seafood such as shrimp, tuna, salmon, catfish, swordfish, cod, and snapper. For a light and refreshing lunch try tomatoes stuffed with tuna. This is an easy recipe using tuna, tomatoes, lemon juice, olive oil, capers, and tomato paste. Poached salmon lying on a hot bed of penne pasta with a thick rich sauce made with dill, tarragon, and lemon flavors. For a spicier take on fish you can use this red curry fishcake recipe. By using your choice of seafood (fish, sardines, shrimp, etc) and covering them in a spicy red curry paste and making a fishcake and frying to perfection. With this zesty baked catfish recipe you will be using tarragon, lemon and pepper seasoning, and a French dressing for a unique taste on catfish fillets. In this book I have tried to cover different seafoods available. So that one can select recipe from the available seafood in their area. Total 160 delicious seafood recipes including 42 recipe methods are for fresh fish, 43 for

13 xv prawns/shrimps, 27 from other seafoods like Lobster, Muscle, Clams, Crabs, squids etc and 9 recipes from Dry Fish Products., 5 Pickle and 24 curry preparations are explained. 5 preparations are given for minced seafood meat and 5 preparations are from canned seafood items.
