Yeast is added before we ferment the beer cool for seven days. 4.7% ABV What makes this beer really special is a 2 week cold conditioning stage with Australian Galaxy and Ella hops which brings out all that depth of flavour and dry hop character. Young s London Stout A classic English IPA with an exciting twist. Young s London Stout is a dark, ruby coloured stout with a beautiful creamy head. Using secret yeast culture and brewing with oat meal delivers a smoother, richer and slightly sweeter taste versus the mainstream Irish Stout. 5 New Year Guest Cask Beers 2017 Charles Wells Seasonal Cask Ales JANUARY JANUARY ONLY FEBRUARY ONLY Young s Winter Warmer 5.0% ABV FIXED PRICE Gallons A rich ruby coloured beer, almost red in bright light. It has a complex fruity nose with hints of candy. Luscious and full bodied, this beer has a powerful mouth-coating flavour leading to a bittersweet, vinous finish. Winter Warmer is brewed with Maris Otter and crystal malts. In the copper, Young s unique molasses sugar mix is added together with Fuggles and Goldings hops. Winter Warmer available until Friday 27th January 2017, whilst stocks last. FEBRUARY SA Brains 4.2% The renowned special ale is copper coloured with a full premium quality flavour. A nutty richness derived from a blend of fine pale and crystal malts is balanced with a satisfying dryness from the unique use of three hops; Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles. The aroma has a hint of spirit, which adds to the legendary mystique of this premium cask beer. Trooper takes its name from the Iron Maiden song which itself was inspired by the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade.
