3 Portobello Road Price: 4 ABV: 42% Dry Born in an upstairs room of the Portobello Star bar in Notting Hill, home of The Ginstitute, this juniper led gin has sweet notes of liquorice and slight pepper flavour of coriander. Place: London, UK Master distiller: Charlie Maxwell Perfect serve: Grapefruit Alkkemist Price: 5.60 Floral A smooth, floral and fresh gin using samphire and muscat grape which is made by the light of the full moon, just 12 times a year. Place: Spain Perfect serve: Orange & thyme Aviation Price: 4.60 ABV: 42% Floral A bar tender- distiller collaboration, this gin was made with the classic cocktail in mind. 4 Batch Price: 4.80 Aromatic Batch was inspired by a trip to Spain and its connection to the ancient incense route. This gin uses exotic botanicals like frankincense and myrrh, having a warm spice, with hints of orange, cardamom and cinnamon with a smooth coriander and citrus finish. Place: Burnley, UK Perfect serve: Raspberries & lime peel Bathtub Price: 4.60 ABV: 43.3% A perfumed, juniper taste, with an added spice of cardamom and cinnamon. Inspired by 1920s bootleggers who distilled gin illegally in bathtubs. Place: UK Master distiller: Professor Cornelius Ampleforth Perfect serve: Lemon peel Blackwoods Price: 4.20 Dry & herbal Made with wild botanicals from Shetland, making each batch slightly different due to varying weather conditions, this gin has a dry citrus flavour, with herb and floral notes. 5 Blind Tiger Price: 5.40 ABV: 47% A peppery spice from the cubeb over subtle orange and lemon notes this gin is inspired by the prohibition era, in which you would pay to see a blind tiger and get a complimentary drink. Place: Belgium Perfect serve: Lemon & black pepper Bloom Price: 4.80 Floral Based on classical botanicals such as cubeb and angelica, but with additions of honeysuckle and pomelo the overall taste of Bloom is sweet and floral. 6 Brockmans Price: 4.40 Sweet Brockmans uses botanicals from all around the world from Spain and Italy, all the way to China to create its smooth, fresh style with strong flavours of blueberry and blackberry. Place: England Perfect serve: Grapefruit peel & blueberries try with ginger ale if you're not a fan of tonic! Botanist Price: 4.60 ABV: 46% Dry Balancing classic botanicals with locally sourced flowers and herbs from the island, Botanist has a strong citrus flavour with a floral undertone from herbs and flowers such as creeping thistle and applemint. Place: Isle of Islay Perfect serve: Thyme & lemon Brooklyn Price: 5.80 Citrus A crisp, smooth gin with a strong citrus flavour, using hand cracked juniper and freshly peeled fruits. Brooklyn is made in the first licensed distillery since prohibition. Place: New York, USA Perfect serve: Lime wedge

7 Bulldog Price: 4.40 ABV:40% London dry Exotic botanicals such as dragon eye, lotus leaves and white poppy create a slightly spicy taste with a warm, floral finish. The bottle is inspired by Winston Churchill and his British Bulldog Spirit. Place: Warrington, UK Perfect serve: Star anise/ apple Caorunn Price: 4.50 ABV: 41.8% London dry Crisp and aromatic using wild highland botanicals bog myrtle, dandelion & apple. Caorunn is vaporised in the world s only working Copper Berry Chamber, originally used for extracting oils for perfume. Place: Scotland Master distiller: Simon Buley Perfect serve: Slices of apple Copperhead Price: 5.50 Named after Mr. Copperhead, an alchemist on the search for the elixir of life, who quite by chance made this refreshing gin! Citrus and cardamom are the main flavours with a sweet juniper taste to finish. Place: Belgium Perfect serve: Orange zest & coriander

8 Cream Gin Price: 4.80 Inspired by the gin palaces of the 18th century where cream and sugar were mixed with gin for a more palatable taste, Cream Gin is cold distilled with fresh cream for a smokey vanilla taste with a hint of citrus. Place: England Perfect serve: Strawberries Daffys Price: 4.50 ABV: 43.4% Fresh Named after Daffy, the goddess of gin, written about in the 1700s and depicted on the bottle. Daffys has a soft earthy spice moving into bright citrus notes, finished off with a refreshing taste from the Lebanese mint used as a botanical. Place: Scotland Perfect serve: Mint sprig Staff suggestion: Southside Death s Door Price: 4.80 ABV: 47% Juniper led, citrusy flavour with a crisp fennel finish. The juniper berries used to make this gin are found growing wild on Washington Island. Place: Wisconsin, USA Master distiller: Eric Gustafson & Christopher Kubale Perfect serve: Lemon peel

9 The Duke Price: 4.80 ABV: 45% Dry A fresh citrus taste from ginger and lemon peel, with an earthy base of lavender and angelica root. Named after the Duke of Bavaria who founded Munich in 1158 Place: Munich Perfect serve: Lemon & lime Edinburgh Gin Liqueur Price: 4.20 Raspberry, Elderflower, Rhubarb & Ginger ABV: 20% Sweet Edinburgh gin is used as a base and is infused with macerated fruits for a sweet liqueur. Place: Edinburgh, Scotland Master distiller: David Wilkinson Still name: Flora a rotund pot still Caledonia a tall column still try with soda for a change from tonic! Elephant Gin Price: 4.60 ABV: 45% London dry Subtle juniper and earthy, herb notes lead into a subtle fruity spice flavour. 15% of all proceeds go towards two African elephant foundations. 10 FEW American Price: 4.80 Earthy spice from vanilla and hops, FEW was named as an ironic nod to Frances Elizabeth Willard, a notable suffragist and prohibitionist who lived in Evanston, where the distillery is based. Place: Illinois, USA Master distiller: Paul Hletko Perfect serve: Lime peel FEW Barrel Aged P r i c e : ABV: 46.5% Smokey Heavy with juniper and citrus, which gives in to a smooth smokey flavour with a sweet spice. This bourbon like gin is aged in oak barrels to give its distinct flavour. Place: Illinois, USA Master distiller: Paul Hletko Perfect serve: Lemon & mint Fifty Pounds Price: 4.60 ABV: 43.5% London dry A secret recipe handed down through generations, created at the time of the Gin Act of 1736, where the price to legally distill gin was 50. It has a strong citrus flavour with a peppery juniper finish. Place: London Perfect serve: Orange peel & a lemon slice

11 Forest Price: 4.80 ABV: 42% A small, family run business with many of the berries and botanicals being foraged by the family and their daughter. It tastes fragrant and earthy due to fresh moss being used, with added fruity notes from the wild berries. Place: Macclesfield, UK Master distiller: Karl Bond Staff serve: Mango & rosemary Gin Mare Price: 4.80 ABV: 42.7% Savoury & herbal Beginning with a citrus base Gin Mare uses various mediterranean herbs such as olive, rosemary and thyme to deliver a savoury taste of sunshine. The citrus fruits; sweet oranges from Seville, bitter oranges from Valencia and lemons from Lleida are macerated for an entire year before being used to create the gin. 12 Gin Sul Price: 4.80 ABV: 43% Dry Citrusy and fresh, with a floral finish Gin Sul was inspired by a trip to Portugal, this gin uses many Mediterranean botanicals including laudanum. Place: Hamburg, Germany Perfect serve: Lemon peel Haymans Old Tom Price: 4.20 Classic tastes of juniper and coriander, sweetened with liquorice root. A family run business, Haymans have been producing gin for over 150 years, distilling alcohol for medicinal purposes during WWII was so important that members of the family were not allowed to sign up. Place: London Perfect serve: Lemon & lime Still name: Marjorie Staff suggestion: Raspberry Collins Hendricks Price: 4.50 ABV: 44% Fresh Two separate stills are used to create this gin, the liquids are combined and then rose and cucumber essence are added after distillation for a stronger, refreshing taste. Place: Scotland Perfect serve: Cucumber

13 King of Soho Price: 4.60 ABV: 42% London dry Created as a homage to the original King of Soho Paul Raymond this classic London dry has mainly juniper and pine flavours with a soft citrus undertone. Place: London, UK Perfect serve: Grapefruit Leopold s Price: 4.80 Citrus Earthy vanilla and pine develop into a floral, mostly citrus flavour in this gin. Leopold s do not use a neutral grain spirit as their base, they separately distill wheat, potato & barley into a blended base. Place: Denver, USA Master distiller: Todd Leopold Martin Millers Price: 4.20 Created by Martin Miller who was fed up of mediocre gins, this modern classic is transported to Iceland after distillation where the gin is blended with water from a spring drawn from the depths of the basalt mountains. This gives it its fresh finish, along with cucumber and citrus botanicals. Place: London/ Iceland Perfect serve: Strawberries and cracked black pepper Still name: Angela what about neat?

14 Mombasa Club Price: 4.40 ABV: 41.5% Dry Juniper led with woody spice notes, followed by sweet liquorice with a peppery finish. Formed in 1885 The Mombasa Club was a place for Englishmen working for the Imperial East Africa Company to swap stories of their travels over a G&T. The club still exists to this day Place: London/ Spain Perfect serve: Lemon slice Staff Serve: Pink Gin add a few dashes of Angostura bitters to your Mombassa G&T Monkey 47 Price: 4.80 ABV: 47% Dry Hugely complex gin from the Black Forest. It has a strong juniper taste with a sweet tang of citrus and earthy berries. Named after the 47 botanicals that the gin uses. Place: Germany Perfect serve: Grapefruit Try in a Negroni! Monkey 47 Sloe Gin Price: 4.80 ABV: 47% Tangy and sweet with berries, ending in a nutty, earthy taste. Place: Germany Perfect serve: Berries

15 Ophir Price: 4.20 Spiced Inspired by the ancient spice route Ophir uses exotic botanicals from India, Morocco and Indonesia to give a well balanced warm spice with hints of cumin and black pepper. Place: London Master distiller: Joanne Moore Perfect serve: Slice of fresh ginger Staff serve: Orange Plymouth Navy Strength Price: 4.80 ABV: 57% Drunk by the Royal Navy in the Napoleonic wars, Plymouth was poured onto gun powder and set alight, if the gunpowder still burnt, the gin was deemed strong enough to bring on board. Made in the oldest working distillery in England this gin is fresh with juniper with an aromatic earthiness from the coriander and cardamom botanicals. 16 Sacred Cardamom Price: 4.60 ABV: 43.8% Spiced Made using vacuum distillation Sacred Cardamom is based on a balance of juniper and citrus, with a focus on its key botanical, the warm spice of cardamom. Place: London Master distiller: Dan Hart Perfect serve: Cardamom pods Our red snapper contains sacred gin, sriracha sauce and kaffir lime leaves! Sipsmiths Price: 4.40 ABV:41.6% London dry The swan on the label is a nod to the swan neck pipe of the copper still in which the gin is made, the first working in London for over 180 years. The gin is dry with a fresh, zesty citrus flavour that is balanced perfectly. 17 St. George Terroir Price: 4.60 ABV: 45% Dry The St. George Spirit Company began as a few tasting tables on sawhorses, now it is a 65,000 square foot hangar. This gin has a dry woody flavour due to Douglas fir, sage and laurel which is balanced by a subtle citrus element. Place: California, USA Master distiller: Lance Winters Perfect serve: Fennel Staff Serve: Basil & star anise Tanqueray 10 Price: 4.60 ABV: 47.3% Dry Fresh, bright, and strongly citrusy. Whole fruit botanicals are used in the distillation such as whole grapefruits and whole limes. Place: London, UK Perfect serve: Grapefruit Still name: Tiny Ten Thomas Dakin Price: 4.60 ABV: 42% Savoury Dakin based his distillery on the trade route between Manchester and Liverpool. The horseradish botanical comes from the red cole liqueur that tradesmen would drink to keep them going on their journeys. Red cole, otherwise known as horseradish is the main botanical in this gin giving a distinctly savoury flavour with sweet undertones. 18 Uppercut Price: 5.40 ABV: 49.6% Dry A selection of herbal botanicals such as liquorice root and strawberry leaf give this strong gin a peppery taste with a sweet finish. Place: Belgium Perfect serve: Strawberries VL92 Price: 5 ABV: 41.7% The VL92 was an old ship that was used to bring jenever to Britain, and is now used to bring VL92 to you today. Juniper led but with an earthy, soft spice. This gin is made with a malt wine base which leads to its oaky qualities. Place: Netherlands Perfect serve: Ginger & juniper berries crushed raspberries and black pepper might be nice? Warner Edwards Harrington Dry Price: 4.40 ABV: 44% Dry Founded by friends Tom Warner and Sion Edwards & made on their farm in a 200 year old converted barn. The Harrington Dry is strongly citrus which gives way to a soft spice from nutmeg and cardamom. Place: Northamptonshire, UK Master distiller: Oli Stokes Perfect serve: Orange slice Still name: Curiosity

19 Warner Edwards Rhubarb Price: 4.40 Sweet Made using a crop of rhubarb originally grown in Queen Victoria s garden at Buckingham Palace. The rhubarb is squeezed through a cider press and blended with Harrington Dry, to create a warm spice with a strong, sweet rhubarb flavour. Perfect serve: Ginger/ raspberries Warner Edwards Elderflower Price: 4.40 Sweet Blended with Harrington Dry, elderflower and a little sugar make this a sweet, floral, summery gin which can only be made once a year. The elderflower that is used is handpicked from the Warner Edwards farm. Perfect serve: Cucumber & lime Warner Edwards Sloe Price: 4.40 ABV: 30% A very rich, deep flavour of sloe with a hint of spice Sloe berries are macerated in their Harrington Dry, the berries are removed but redistilled to extract the absorbed alcohol. 20 West Winds Sabre Price: 4.40 Dry Strong with a balance of citrus and juniper, using Australian botanicals such as lemon myrtle and wattle seed West Winds nod to a traditional London Dry whilst creating something truly aussie. Place: Australia Perfect serve: Lemon West Winds Cutlass Price: 4.80 ABV: 50% Savoury Fun fact: As with the other West Winds gins, Cutlass is triple distilled using Margaret River rain water. It is crisp and fresh with a big hit of coriander. Place: Australia Perfect serve: Green pepper West Winds Broadside Price: 6.20 ABV: 58% Navy strength. Broadside is peppery with juniper and has a slight saltiness, thanks to the sea parsley and sea salt botanicals, and a citrus undertone. Place: Australia Perfect serve: Lemon

21 Williams Chase Elegant Price: 4.60 ABV: 48% Unlike most gins which are based on a neutral grain spirit, this gin has an apple cider base. This makes a crisp fruit taste with juniper and earthy undertones. Place: Herefordshire, UK Perfect serve: Apple Still name: Ginny Williams Chase Extra Dry Price: 4.40 Dry Heavy juniper flavour with subtle notes of dark chocolate and spice. This gin is infused with juniper buds as well as berries to make the gin extra dry. Place: Herefordshire, UK Perfect serve: Slice of ginger and a lime wedge Still name: Ginny

22 Xolato Price: 5.40 ABV: 46% Sweet/smokey Based on an ancient Aztec elixir said to have aphrodisiac and intellect sharpening traits this interesting gin has a smokey chocolate and vanilla flavours. Place: Belgium Perfect serve: Cocoa nibs Staff serve: Try with lemonade for a cream soda flavour Zymugorium s Manchester Gin Price: 4.80 Aromatic Begins sweet, moving into a subtle spice from botanicals such as caraway and coriander. The name comes from a combination of Zymurgy; the study of scientific brewing and emporium.
