1 FIRST ONE HUNDRED GINS THAT MADE IT, ONTO THE PANTRY SHELVES G IN PANTR Y Adnams Distilled Gin This cracking gin is distilled in a beer stripping column, before being put through a handmade copper pot still. It is then purified in a rectifier. The result is very creamy and rich. Aviation Gin A batch distilled Gin from America, Aviation Gin offers a Dutch style and it was distilled from rye and flavoured with Juniper, Lavender, Anise, Sarsaparilla, Orange peel and Cardamom. Bathtub Gin Very high quality copper pot-still spirit is infused with ingredients including Juniper, Orange Peel, Coriander, Cinnamon, Cloves and Cardoman. Beefeater 24 When creating Beefeater 24, Desmond Payne knew he had to come up with something totally different for his selection of botanicals. He used tea! Berkeley Square This premium gin from G and J Greenall is made with botanicals including basil, kaffir lime leaves and lavender, and it s distilled in copper pot stills. Berry s Good Ordinary Gin This gin is from Berry Brothers and Rudd of St James. Blackwoods Dry A specially vintage dry gin from the Shetlands. This is a high strength Blackwoods gin, flavoured with plants gathered in Origin Macedonia. Blackwoods 2007 Premium This is a high strength Blackwoods gin, flavoured with plants gathered in the Summer of 2007, the flavours used include meadow sweet, wild water mint, sea pink and elderflower. Blackwoods 60% An incredible vintage dry gin distilled using a variety of delicious local botanicals including wild water mint, sea pink, juniper, meadow sweet, coriander, violets and bog myrtle. Bloom Gin Bloom Gin is a superb London Dry Gin produced by Greenall s and named Bloom in reference to the floral nature of its botanicals: honeysuckle, pomelo and chamomile.

2 Bluecoat American Gin Distilled in a traditional copper pot still and named after the uniforms worn in the American Revolution. The botanical recipe is kept secret, The juniper becomes more concentrated and the citrus element opens up into orange blossom and sherbet lemon. Blue gin It is flavoured with botanicals including cinnamon, angelica, bergamot and gardenia and has a slight blue tint. Boë Gin A top quality gin named for Franz de la Boë, who created gin in 1658 as a medicine. He claimed it would cure one third of all diseases. Bols Genever A beautiful, old fashioned Genever made by the great Dutch distillers, Bols. Loads of character, and very unique in flavour. Bombay Dry Originally launched in 1959, Bombay s Dry Gin is made to the original recipe which preceded Bombay Sapphire. Bombay Sapphire One of the best known and most delicately perfumed gins in the world, Bombay Sapphire makes an excellent Martini, and is great as a base for a Gin and Tonic. Boxer Gin The Boxer is a crisp London Dry Gin with a wonderfully complex, vibrant flavour; based on fresh juniper a trio of a superb botanicals: orange, lemon and bergamot. The result is truly superb. Brecon Gin This is flavoured with orange peel from Spain, Chinese cassia bark, Sri Lankan liquorice, Madagascan cinnamon, French angelica root, Russian coriander, Indian nutmeg, Spanish lemon peel and Italian orris root Brockmans Gin Delicious gin from Brockmans. This is made with Bulgarian coriander, blueberries and blackberries as well as bittersweet Valencia orange peels. The result is well balanced and full of flavour. Brokers Broker s is made with herbs, spices and fruits imported from three continents and blended to be extra dry - yes, that s right people, this is Martini heaven Bulldog Gin A delicious English gin made with poppy, dragon eye, lotus leaves, citrus, almond, lavender and various other botanicals (12 in total).

3 Cask-Aged Gin When Professor Cornelius Ampleforth acquired some octave casks (only 50 litres capacity as opposed to the more usual 250 litre hogshead. Caorunn Gin A small batch Scottish gin from the Balmenach distillery in Speyside. Caorunn (pronounced ka-roon) is flavoured with rowan berry, heather, coul blush apple and dandelion. Chase Gin An English gin, distilled at Herefordshire, from the same company that make Chase potato vodka. This is distilled from organic apples, and has a lovely crisp, fruity flavour. Citadelle Developed in a Dunkirk distillery in the late 18th Century, and at the time was one of the earliest European ports for explorers of the Orient, who brought back herbs and spices from the Far East. Cold River Gin Cold River Gin is a beautifully crisp, tangy, fruity quaff from the folks over at Maine Distilleries. Colonel Fox Made to a unique recipe discovered in 1859 by Lieut. Col. Fox, celebrated hero of many a fierce battle. Made with juniper, coriander, Angelica, Cassia, Liquorice and bitter orange peel. Death s Door American gin made with organic red winter wheat from Washington Island, Wiconsin. Bottled at higher strength than your averag e gin, this made a g reat mar tini. Dr.J s Gin An artisan gin from a very small distiller based in Cambridgeshire, made in a hand-beaten copper still called Merlin; a creamy start with more orange flavours amid the juniper and coriander notes. Edgerton Pink Gin wonderful London Dry Gin from Edgerton, with a beautiful pink hue thanks to the use of pomegranate! The result is a fine, crisp-tasting gin with zinging citrus. Edinburgh Gin Made by Spencerfield Spirits Company, this delicious gin is distilled in Edinburgh and is flavoured with lovely botanicals including milk thistle and heather. A creamy little gin. Edinburgh Raspberry A tasty Raspberry-flavoured gin made in Edinburgh using Scottish Juniper, and other botanicals, and an infusion of delicious, crisp Scottish raspberries. Fillier s No.28 Created in 1928 by Firmin Filliers, it uses 28 botanicals in addition to juniper, produced in copper stills in small batches. Lemon and orange peel support the juniper with a hint of cardamom and fresh coriander. Finsbury It is a dry gin made to an 18th Century method and a recipe which remains a very well-kept secret. Floraison It consists of eight strange and fresh botanical fruits, selected and chosen as ginger root, liquorice, green cardamom, cassia bark, coriander, juniper berries, nutmeg and cubeb berries. Foxdenton 48% This is made with organic botanicals. Various batches were tried until perfection was reached, each time the batches would be based on Coriander and, naturally, Juniper. Geranium Gin Exquisite London Dry Gin made with actual geranium - which everyone knows is a fantastically aromatic plant. Very unusual, distinctive and utterly delicious Gilpins Gin A super-premium London Dry Gin, it is made with a variety of botanicals, including the quintessential juniper, and the wonderfully English borage and sage. Gin Mare A fabulous Spanish Gin inspired by Mediterranean flavours, Gin Mare is made with botanicals including arbequina olive, Rosemary, Thyme, Basil and mandarin! Gordon s A gin that needs no introduction. Gordon s is a very popular dry gin first created in 1769 by Alexander Gordon. The recipe is only known by four people, and has been a secret for 200 years. Greenalls Greenall s Gin is a smooth, crisp, easy-going sort of a gin which works well as a mixer in a Gin and Tonic G Vine Nouaison It s infused with Ugni Blanc grape, as well as some more standard botanicals including ginger root, liquorice, cardamom, cassia bark, coriander, cubeb berries, nutmeg, lime and even a bit of juniper. Hayman s Old Tom This is an old-fashioned, sweeter style gin from the 18th Century, and it has recently risen in popularity thanks to its association with classic gin cocktails including the Martinez and the Tom Collins.

5 Hayman s Sloe Gin A traditional Sloe gin from Hayman s, this is made by steeping the sloes in Hayman s gin before blending with natural sugar. Bittersweet and intense in flavour. Hendricks Gin Quirky producer Hendricks make their pot-still distilled gin using cucumber as one of the primary botanicals. This makes for a unique, tasty and incredibly refreshing Gin. This gin has a fantastic balance of earthy, aromatic notes of bergamot and a slight citrus tang. Hoxton Gin Its filtered and rested in steel tanks for two months, a longer than usual process which helps integrate the myriad flavours. Ish Gin A beautiful quintuple-distilled made in the centre of London. This is made with 12 botanicals as well as good quality grain spirit. Ish London Dry Gin is great in a Martini! Jensen A gin distilled in the style of London gins of old. Bermondsey gin makes a superb martini, with a rich, tangy flavour and incredible nose. Jensen Old Tom A soft, sweet gin harkening back to the mid19th century. Jensen s Old Tom is naturally sweet with a great number of botanicals. Juniper Green An organic gin. When making this, the producers couldn t find certified organic blackthorn bushes in the UK. Knockeen Hills Elderflower The botanicals are steeped for at least 24 hours, a process that improves their complexity within the gin. Selected for lightness, flavour and fragrance. Leopold s Gin Small Batch American gin, made using hand-zested American pummelos. They only make 50 cases of this a year, so it really is small batch. London 40 Gin Is made to the same recipe as Pink 47 but with a reduced alcohol content.

6 Martin Miller s It is flavoured with Tuscan juniper, cassia bark, angelica, Florentine orris, coriander, Seville citrus peel, nutmeg, cinnamon and liquorice root. Mayfair Dry Gin This gin uses a variety of botanicals including juniper, angelica root, coriander seed, rubbed savoury, orris powder and a selection of others to create a full-bodied gin. Miller s Westbourne The Beverage Tasting Institute awarded this 97 points and declared this the best gin in the world and the spirit of the year. Monkey 47 Monkey 47 won the World Spirits Award Gold in the Gin category and Gold for best in class for the Gin Worldwide. No. 209 Gin The best gin we ve tasted in a very long time, this quintuple-distilled gin has perhaps the best flavour we ve ever encountered for a Gin Martini. No 3 Gin This is made with juniper at its heart, with three fruits and three spices. It s made in copper pot stills. This bottle is presented with two glasses, out of which to enjoy the gin! Old English Gin As the name suggests, this gin sets out to replicate an original style of English gin, a slighttly sweetened distilled gin which many people refer to as Old Tom. Portobello Road It s an old-style London Dry Gin, containing traditional botanicals and spices, that harks back to the gins of yesteryear.
