2 Dr. Hussain BinGhatti Aljbori Founder & Chairman BInghatti Holding Born to a Bedouin merchant, Dr. Hussain BinGhatti Aljbori lived his first days in a simple, yet bustling setting of wise nomadic traders. His father Ghatti Bin Ghaib was seen as a Leviathan between middle-eastern traders who carried their mercantile wisdom from generation to another. Subsequently, Dr. Hussain was able to assimilate a kaleidoscope of mercantile skills from his mentor of a father at a very early age. At the age of 16, he had already established a handful of construction ventures, and by his early twenties inaugurated his journey into the real-estate sector whilst simultaneously securing his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Baghdad - securing his place among the top 3 highest academic achievers on a national level. Such achievements granted Dr. Hussain recognition and an exclusive scholarship to complete his masters and PHD degrees in the United Kingdom. This culminated into his completion of a Masters degree in Digital Control Engineering from Cranfield Institute of Technology, followed by a PHD degree in Industrial Technology Engineering from the University of Bradford. Despite his academic excellence, Dr. Hussain did not shy away from perpetuating the growth of his business activities and was able to tap into miscellaneous mercantile activities, such as Construction, Real-Estate, FMCG, Industrial Manufacturing, and Hospitality. In 2008 he founded Binghatti Holding, a DIFC based company serving as an umbrella to all the ventures he had successfully established. The company boasts the family s name Binghatti - Son of Ghatti - and exists today as a testimony to the diligence and mercantile excellence of the Binghatti family over the past 3 generations. Under the prudent leadership of Dr. Hussain BinGhatti, the company continues the quest begun in 1875 by the family s founding father- the honourable Ghatti Bin Ghaib.
