1 SUPERHERO COCKTAIL COMPILATION VII Recipes in superherococktails.com, from 21th November 2017 to 4th January 2018 Some of the following cocktails use strawberry, raspberry or cherry juice. It is intended that you use concentrate, diluted with water 1:1 ratio instead of recommendation (usually 3:1 or 4:1). BLACK PANTHER Mysterious and dangerous 1 part white rum 1 part Bols White Cocoa 1 part Gammel Dansk 2 parts cherry juice 1 part apple juice cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry. CAPTAIN AMERICA Straightforward dessert 4 parts Passõa 1 parts Triple Sec 2 parts pineapple juice 1 part red grenadine Blue Curacao, cooled in freezer Shake ingredients (except Blue Curacao) with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Gently top with ice-cold Curacao: it will set between white foam and the rest of the drink, creating patriotic Red, White and Blue.

2 DR.DOOM Rigorous apertif 4 parts vodka 2 parts Noilly Prat 1 part Pisang Ambon cocktail glass. In emergency you can substitute Noilly Prat with some other extra dry vermouth, but N.P. really is "the weapon of choice" here. MORE SUPERHERO-INSPIRED RECIPE COMPILATIONS AT SUPERHEROCOCKTAILS.COM GORILLA GRODD Sweet 'n Bitter Frappé 3 parts Parfait Amour 2 parts Triple Sec 1 part Gammel Dansk Cool suitable glasses in the freezer beforehand. Shake ingredients with ice, vigorously until glacially cold, and strain into cold glasses filled with crushed/shaven ice. Serve with straw. Please note that in picture above the drink looks as purple as it in real life (inspired by Gorilla Grodd's cape). Next drink is also purple IRL, but in photo it looks brownish...

3 HAWKEYE Sweetest highball ever! 2 parts whisky 5 parts raspberry juice 2 parts red grenadine 1 part cream 1 to 2 parts Blue Curacao highball glass with lots of ice in it. Serve with straw, and possibly with stirrer. Hawkeye looks better in real life, trust me! I don't know why, but all the pics of this drink ended up looking unpleasantly purplebrown... it IS purple in real life! KITTY PRYDE; small, but still packs the punch 1 part dark rum 1 part Amaretto di Saronno 3 to 4 parts strawberry juice old fashioned glass, add some ice. Serve with suitable candy.

4 PARASITE Nasty looking but tasty highball 8 cl (3 oz) sweet red vermouth 2 cl (3/4 oz) Green Chartreuse 2cl simple syrup one egg white Shake vigorously with ice and strain into highball glass with some ice in it. In "Hawkeye" above, I whined about the photo: the drink looks better in real life... well, "Parasite" looks exactly as nasty as it does in the pic! Parasites (or Parasite) are nasty, and the drink should look like that... but the taste is great! For more vile looking concotions, try substituting simple syrup with grenadine syrups of different colour. SPECTRE Apertif with Cosmic Power 2 parts dry gin 1 part absint 1 part Midor small cocktail glasses: this one is really powerful. "The Spirit of Vengeance"-version: 1 part dry gin, 1 part extra dry vermouth, 1 part absinth and 1 part Midori. Shake with ice, as above. 5 COUPLE OF NON-SUPERHEROCOCKTAILS, INSPIRED BY AFRICAN NATURE AND UGANDAN GIN... PUNISHMENT ISLAND 3 parts Uganda Waragi 1 part Midori Dash of lime Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. I designed this as an apertif; blending the raw fruity flavour of Waragi with crisp Midori. PYGMY DANCE 3 parts Uganda Waragi 2 parts Amaretto di Saronno 2 parts Coca-Cola Stir with ice and strain into cocktail glass, garnish with cherry. This is meant to be enjoyed as sweet digestive. You can also try 5 parts Waragi and 3 parts of both Amaretto and Coke for a slightly different aroma. Uganda Waragi isn't readily available worldwide, you should buy a bottle if you happen to stumble upon it... or you can travel to Uganda to enjoy it, and beautiful nature and friendly people of that marvellous country. These two recipes were developed by Yours Truly: Punishment Island while in Uganda and Pygmy Dance after I got back to Finland.
