1 PHASE TheBus Routes Redesign Guide For Public Review and Comment Thank you for responding to the 218 TheBus Routes Redesign Guide proposal during January April 218. This brochure shows the survey results and final proposals for Routes 55, 56, 5, 5A, 65,,, 85, 85A, 8, 88, PH4, and PH5. Modifications to the first proposal are listed below: Route will retain service to Le Jardin Academy, and along Aloha Oe Dr. Public Outreach Information Timelines are subject to change. Public Outreach Period Nov 218 to Jan 219: General distribution of brochure to the public and Neighborhood Boards (presentations will be made upon request by the NB - please refer to the NB Agenda). o meets 1st Thursday o Waimanalo meets 2nd Monday o Kahaluu meets 2nd Wednesday o Koolauloa meets 2nd Thursday o Kaneohe meets 3rd Thursday o North Shore meets 4th Tuesday Final Plan Approval Feb 219 Routes 85A and 88 will NOT be combined, and will not change. A new Kaneohe circulator route (Route 651) will connect City, Puohala, Mall &. Route 55 will remain on between Haiku Rd & Hygienic Store. Routing along Haiku Rd & Alaloa/Heeia Sts will be removed. Route 65 will remain on between Haiku Rd & Hui Iwa St, extend all trips to Ala Moana, and extend routing along Alaloa/Heeia Sts. Route 85 will be extended to provide service to Mokulele/Namoku/Aumoku Sts. Implementation Mar 219: o Renumber Routes 55, 56, 5, 5A,,, 85A o Route 6 (55) add an earlier first AM trip o Merge Routes PH4/PH5 o Route 85 and 8 extensions To be determined pending availability of funding: Routes 6 (55), 61 (56), 65, 66 (56), 6 (5), 69 (), 85, 8, 651 (56), 61 (), 62 (), 63 (56/5A) Route 8 will be extended to provide service to / Sts.
