1 Bryan School Bulldog Lunch Program Welcome to Lunch Cycle 3 April 3rd - June 15th This cycle on Mondays and Tuesdays, we will be piloting a new lunch service Simply Gourmet. It will be offered daily starting in September. Simply Gourmet is a full service catering company specializing in school lunch programs. They are fully web based, and have a paperless ordering & payment system. Lunch orders can be placed weekly giving your child the option of trying many different things. If you don t like the lunch choice, just hit edit to see the many options for that day! They are completely nut free and offer organic, and gluten free options. Please read the attached document for more information. You can place your lunch order starting today. The deadline to order lunch will be on March 13th. No late orders will be accepted after this date. Once your lunch order is placed, it cannot be changed. There will be no exceptions. If you have the opportunity, please try the choices that are available before the cycle begins. Please keep in mind this lunch program is a courtesy of the PTA and as always, all profits are returned to the kids through educational resources purchased for the students of Bryan School. It would be extremely helpful if you could remind your child on the days they are receiving lunch. A master list is kept in the APR and the volunteers work extremely hard to ensure that all the children receive their lunches. 4 Fresh Eats Fresh Eats was started by two local Tenafly fathers who left the corporate world to care for their kids who were not satisfied with some of the lunch options being offered to our elementary school children. As such we have started Fresh Eats to cater specifically to children by offering fresh, organic, and natural foods as much as possible, as well as staying away from saturated fats and preservatives. Our food is never frozen and made with fresh ingredients daily to preserve nutrition and flavor. We source all our poultry from Goffle Poultry Farms in Wyckoff, which is a free range, hormone free, and antibiotic free farm. In addition we use mostly biodegradable and compostable packaging where possible to reduce waste. At Fresh Eats we strive to satisfy all children and make sure they get a well-balanced meal at school. We have altered some traditional favorites by infusing vegetables into all our meals so that even the most finicky eater gets a good, well-balanced lunch. Parents can then be happy knowing their child is eating well. Since Fresh Eats is not a restaurant, our menu options are not limited and we work with each school s HAS/PTA to deliver a menu that is both popular and healthy to satisfy every kid s palate.
