4 NDC 2017/18 Grad Class Thai Manna Fundraiser February 2, 2017 Dear Parents, Today marks the beginning of our Thai Manna fundraising campaign. The fundraiser will run from Thursday, February 2 until Wednesday, March 1. Thai Manna is a meal kit that allows you to create delicious Thai cuisine in your own kitchen. The kit includes all the necessary spices, coconut milk and rice that you will need for your meal. You are required only to provide the meat and vegetables that you would like to add to the dish. The cost of each kit, with the exception of the Pad Thai, is.00. We receive 20% of each sale. All order/summary sheets must be handed in to your son/daughter s TAP Representative by Wednesday, March 1, 2017 along with full payment. Orders that do not have payment IN FULL will not be placed. All cheques are to be made payable to Notre Dame Collegiate. Only cash or cheques will be accepted. 10% of all monies raised will go towards helping to build a school in Madagascar. About the Thai Manna kits: REAL FOOD Whenever possible our kits are made with nothing but straight up, actual, natural, real food. Curry Pastes We hand make our curry pastes. There are no preservatives, nothing that you can t pronounce (except maybe Galangal) and it s all real, actual, natural, God made food. *Our Yellow Curry is brand new, may contain some preservatives and is not gluten free. We are currently working with other suppliers to make changes in our yellow spices but until then, please let us know of any allergy concerns. The Spice Level Each of our pastes are made very mild as far as the spice for those who just don t like the heat. Each one of our kits however, does include either Birdseye or Crushed chilies so you can make any of our dishes as spicy as you can handle.
5 STORAGE You have a solid 6 months in the freezer for our curry kits, and 2 months in the fridge for our Pad Thai. Please see for more information. Attached, you will find a copy of the Thai Manna menu and the order and summary sheets. The Thai Manna Order sheet will be used to list the order for each of your customers. The Final Summary sheet will serve to summarize your full order. Please note that you will be responsible for the pickup and distribution of your customers orders. The tentative pick-up date will be Monday, March 6, 2017 at NDC from 5:00 7:00 pm. If you are unable to make that time and date, please make arrangements to have someone pick them up for you. The items are perishable so it will be necessary for them to be kept in cold storage until you are able to deliver them to your customers. If you have any additional questions, I can be reached at smccallum@redeemer.ab.ca. Shelli McCallum Teacher Advisor for the Grad Class of 2018 Thai Manna Fundraiser
