3 NZZ media group 3 A modern media company NZZ is a modern media company that not only publishes Neue Zürcher Zeitung, NZZ am Sonntag, NZZ-Folio magazine, Z Die schönen Seiten, NZZ-Campus and the Swiss-Equity-Magazin, but also has interests in other newspaper publishing and printing companies. In addition, NZZ is behind the famous book publishing house, NZZ-Libro. The company is also a major player in the electronic media market. NZZ-Film und Fernsehen, for instance, produces regular television programmes broadcast in Switzerland and Germany, and NZZ-Online is one of Switzerland s most successful information platforms. The NZZ media group comprises two companies : NZZ and FPH (Free Press Holding). The NZZ business arm includes all the activities and products of the NZZ AG parent company and is particularly geared to the national market, while the FPH holding manages all of our interests in other regionally significant and wellestablished media companies.

27 NZZ-Online with a new improved layout 27 NZZ-Online now has a new improved layout with noticeably wider pages, enlarged typefaces and simplified navigation. In the main navigation panel of the news pages, the International and Swiss sections are listed under Politics. As well as the latest news from the city and region, the Zurich section now features a new Restaurant Guide and Webcam from the roof of the NZZ building in Falkenstrasse. The collective Background section has now been added to the main navigation panel, and includes Science articles as well as the NZZ blogs. All video content on NZZ-Online is now available in one place under the Web TV heading, which includes Impulse and Format. To the Magazine, which still contains the Travel & Leisure and Cars/Motoring content, a new section on Style has been added, which is looked after by NZZ am Sonntag in particular. The Magazine also contains the Digital page, which is going to be expanded in the future, while the Entertainment section has been replaced by the popular Sudoku. Only minor changes have been made to Finance, where Second-tier stocks are now listed under Shares.
