2 orn in Bordeaux and educated in the U.S., Sacha Lichine began working at his family s property, Château Prieuré Lichine in Margaux during the summers of his youth. At age 23, Sacha s first enterprise was organizing luxury wine tours throughout France including Burgundy and the Rhone. He also worked as a Sommelier at Anthony s Pier 4 Restaurant and then with an importer/ distributor both of which were in Boston. Sacha then went on to work for Southern Wine & Spirits in California and in 1987 he established a distributorship on Saint Lucia called Caribbean Château. During the same year, a defining moment in Sacha s career came about when he started running Château Prieuré Lichine at age 27. In 1990 Sacha started a negociant business, Borvin, which he still operates focusing on selecting the best wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy. Recognizing the importance of innovation in an increasingly varied wine industry around the world, Sacha developed a line of new world wines from France, Sacha Lichine International - Vins Sans Frontieres which today consists of a selection of wines crafted from vineyards in the Languedoc region, The Chicken Wines (vin de Pays d Oc) and Sacha Lichine Selections (Vin de France). Sacha s 2006 acquisition of Château d Esclans in Provence has resulted in building a world class brand while providing a strong contribution to unprecedented growth within the Rosé category. atrick Léon has unparalleled experience in making among the great wines of the world. A Bordeaux native with an extensive knowledge and education in Oenology, Patrick studied this subject in the great wine schools of France as well as business management. In 1972 Patrick joined Alexis Lichine & Company in Bordeaux beginning as the general manager of purchasing and group oenologist and wine maker. Additionally, he held positions as a Technical Manager & Co General Manager of Château Lascombes Grand Cru Classé in Margaux and Château Castéra in Lesparre-Médoc. Patrick also worked with Alexis Lichine on developing content for his Encyclopedia of Wines & Spirits. These positions went through the mid eighties at which point Patrick began working for Baron Philippe de Rothschild for nearly twenty years as a Managing Director, overseeing technical winemaking facilities for Château Mouton Rothschild, d Armailhac, Clerc Milon, le Petit Mouton, Aile d Argent, Opus One in California, Almaviva in Chile, Domaine de Lambert & Baron d Arques in the Languedoc, Mouton Cadet in Bordeaux as well as other wines in the BPHR portfolio including Escudo Rojo in Chile. Patrick s wide breadth of experience and knowledge has established the foundation to becoming a consulting oenologist and working with Sacha Lichine in this capacity making all the Lichine wines as great as they are.

Free run juice and first slight pressing. No maceration. Both free run juice and pressed juice partially vinified in demi-muids (600L barrels) and stainless steel, both temperature controlled.
