Supplies comprehensive information on current technology and viticultural expertise to

9 established Ohio grape growers. Provides relevant and essential information and educational materials to new and potential Ohio growers interested in commercial grape production on issues of vineyard site selection, vineyard design, routine aspects of vineyard management, and diagnosis of routine vineyard problems. Conducts individual site visits to assist established, new or potential grape producers when required. Serves as an information resource for viticulture personnel throughout Ohio. This is a full-time position and will be located at the Ohio Agricultural Research & Development Center in Wooster, OH. Required qualifications: Master s degree in horticulture & crop science or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in extension teaching or research in viticulture. Desired qualifications: Experience in education curriculum development, program planning, and strong communication skills in outreach/extension teaching. Application deadline: 12/31/2017
