St. Hilaire Blanc de Blanc $17.00/bottle Created by the Benedictine Monks of the Abbey, Saint-Hilaire, over 450 years ago; more than 100 years before the first champagne was created. We think you ll enjoy this marvelous sparkling wine. Schramsberg 2006 Blanc de Blanc $40.00/bottle This Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine is as close an approximation to real Champagne as anything available here in the US. This bubbly is light and balanced with pear and apple cobbler flavors that linger on the finish. It has been served at every presidential inauguration since the Nixon administration. Single Serving Sparkling Wine Selection (187 ml) Cantine Maschio Prosecco Brut $3.50/bottle A perfect way to unwind with a single serving sized bottle, this wine hails from the hills of Treviso, north of Venice. This wine has forward fruity notes of white peach, orange blossoms, and almond. Half-Bottle Selection (375 ml) Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc This wine from New Zealand brings with it intense aromas of limes, grapefruit, and underlying rich tropical fruit. An inviting and fine texture brings out the citrus and currant flavors. Pure fruit and vibrant acidity leave a sustained, dry finish. Starmont Merryvale Chardonnay Also avail. French oak barrel fermentation, aging on the lees and malolactic fermentation contribute to the wine s richness and long, silky finish. E. Guigal Cotes Du Rhone Rouge $10.00/bottle Hailing from the Rhone Valley in eastern France, this red wine features a blend of Syrah, Grenache Noir and Mourvedre varietals. Elevage ( resting of the wine ) is employed to create a wine that is full-bodied with hints of chocolate, berries and spices.

2 Steele Pinot Noir Carneros This wine, sourced from the Durell and Sangiacomo Vineyards on the coast of Sonoma Carneros, features bright strawberry and cherry flavors, balanced with hints of jasmine tea and cola. Named a pinot-lover s pinot by the winemakers, this selection has moderate oak, hightone fruit flavors, a rich nose, juicy palate and a long finish. Kings Estate Pinot Noir This 2012 selection, from the Willamette Valley of Oregon, is a deep garnet with a bright ruby tint. This wine starts with full aromas of cherry, raspberry, eucalyptus, and spice, followed by flavors of pomegranate, vanilla, cherry, oak and lavender, and ending with a long and lively finish. Hess Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon $16.00/bottle This Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and intense, with flavors reminiscent of black cherry, raspberry, blackberry, plum and a touch of sweet spicy oak. The wine is smooth and supple, but with a broad base of tannins that give it heft. Merryvale Starmont Cabarnet Sauvignon $16.00/bottle Dark purple in color with generous aromas of currants, blackberry, licorice, chocolate, black olive, espresso and vanilla. The wine is round and full on the palate with forward fruit and great structure from the balanced acid and tannins. White Wine Selection (750 ml bottles) Riff Terra Alpina Pinot Grigio The wine is produced from grapes grown in vineyards located on the slopes of the Alpine Dolomite foothills in Italy, abundant in the prized alluvial dolomite, a limestone made of fossil deposits from an ancient ocean that covered the region 4.6 million years ago. Light, crisp and nice acid, what Pinot Grigio should be. Novellum Chardonnay Nectarine, apple, lily, heliotrope, acacia, and toasted nuts in the nose usher in a palate on which the bitterness of apple pie, fruit pit, and herbs offers counterpoint to luscious nectarine, to a creamy texture, and to hints of caramel, browned butter, vanilla, and nutmeg. Perfect if you prefer a non-oak French Chardonnay. Ranga Ranga Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough, New Zealand Crisp acidity carries a solid core of lemon grass, lime zest along with a hint of dried herbs and a touch of minerality. This sauvignon blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand packs a fresh, zingy punch on the finish. Acrobat Oregon Pinot Gris $14.00/bottle Rich citrus aromas, tropical papaya, pineapple and lychee unfold, with hints of limestone and honeysuckle floral notes. Lemon and lime ripeness on entry, evolving with honeydew melon, golden delicious apple mid-palate, and lingering with notes of kiwi. Light and well-balanced entry, full mid-palate, with a crisp lingering finish.

3 Burgans Albarino 2011 Coming from the Burgan hills of Spain, this pale gold wine is made using the Albarino grape varietal. It has received critical acclaim for its flavors of pineapple, mango and peach within a crisp, dry citrusy background. Ferraro-Carano Fume Blanc $19.00/bottle The Russian River Valley fruit imparts crisp acidity, while the Alexander Valley grapes are ripe with honeysuckle and melon. Floral and herbal notes from the Dry Creek Valley round out this wine, making it sensational for summer quaffing. Medium-weight and clean with a wonderful acid backbone, the wine expands in the glass, offering up grapefruit, lemon, pear and kumquat with subtle vanilla bean and herbal mushroom. Red Wine Selection (750 ml bottles) Castle Rock Pinot Noir This wine is elegant and medium-bodied, offering aromas of cherry, tea, and herbal spice. On the palate it s smooth, silky texture and mild tannins give the flavor of black cherry, plum, and spice and finishes long and harmoniously. Rio Madre Graciano Rioja Rio Madre is concentrated and powerful on the palate, with a spicy note building with air. Intense licorice, blackcurrant and bitter cherry notes linger on the spicy, youthfully tannic finish: great color, good acidity, and wonderful blue/purple fruited lively fruit. Renegade Wine Company Produced by Sleight of Hand Cellars in Washington State, this is a wine that compares very well with more expensive red wines. 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec, and 1% Petit Verdot. It exhibits lots of red and black fruits, scents of loamy minerality, and fine grained tannins that are matched with balanced acidity Morse Code Shiraz Deep garnet-purple in color, this Australian wine has a ripe and velvety palate with juicy blackberry, blueberry and plum flavors. An array of floral characters including lavender and rose, ripe cherry fruit and hints of spearmint can be found in its bouquet.

4 Yalumba Shiraz Viognier This Shiraz has aromas that are both wild and exotic. Blueberries, violets and cherry ripe notes from the Shiraz are elevated by the subtle influence of Viognier, which brings an alluring Turkish delight character. The well rounded palate is medium- to full-bodied and shows Turkish delight and cherry ripe flavors that are in harmony with the silky tannins. Owen Roe Sharecropper s Cabernet Sauvignon $20.00/bottle At least one on-line review commented that this wine compares favorably with much more pricey cabs. Many reviewers noted that for a young wine it has great depth and richness. Earthy, aromatic and not too heavy on the tannins. Owen Roe Abbots Table 2012 $25.00/bottle The innkeeper unabashedly loves Owen Roe red wines. This wine is a blend of five grapes: Zinfandel, Merlot, Sangiovese, Malbec and Lemberger. Lots of great flavors come together for a satisfying glass of wine; pairs well with lots of different food and is ever so drinkable all by itself. Ferrari Carano Merlot $28.00/bottle This wine is comprised of 97% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is aged in barrels for 17 months, allowing for the perfect balance of fruit, tannin, and oak. This wine delights with a medium-bodied mid-palate, generous and approachable mouthwatering tannins, and a sweet, lively, smooth finish. Patricia Green Cellars Freedom Hill Pinot Noir $30.00/bottle Deep, concentrated and full bodied, dark ruby colored, great aromatics of rose petals, blackberries, raspberries, tobacco, and exotic spices. Forkfuls of blackberry pie warm from the oven, juicy black raspberries and blueberries, violets, minerals and earth. A velvety backbone with a finish minutes in length. Owen Roe Ex Umbris Syrah $30.00/bottle Dark and fruity, with notes of pink peppercorn, stewed raspberry, rose petal and baking spices underpinned by a hint of smoke. Flavors of Bing cherry, white pepper, cedar, eucalyptus and plum create a lasting impression on the palate and are graced by bright acidity and a fine tannin structure. Ferrari Carano Cabernet Sauvignon $32.00/bottle With aromas of blackberry jam, baking spices, pure maple syrup and black tea, this wine delights with rich delicious flavors of caramel, espresso and dark chocolate. A juicy and full mid-palate, rich, mouth-coating tannins and excellent depth characterize this lovely Cabernet Sauvignon. Owen Roe Yakima $43.00/bottle This tasting notes review states it well: Three- fifths Merlot, one quarter Cab Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, this Bordeaux- style blend shows ripe fruit scents of raisin and prune, offset with baking spices and plenty of chocolate and espresso. Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA (Rehoboth Beach, DE) $3.00/bottle Dogfish Head started the thirst for IPA beer with their 60 Minute IPA. It is brewed with a slew of great Northwest hops. A powerful but balanced East Coast IPA with a lot of citrusy hop character; it's the beer for hardcore enthusiasts! Rock Art Whitetail (Morrisville, VT) $3.00/bottle A Golden American ale with a crisp body and slightly dry, hoppy finish. This is a real treat for the beer lover. Pale, wheat and torrified wheat malts are used with Northern Brewer and Mt. Hood hops.
