14 GENERAL INFORMATION & POLICIES Ceremony: Rental fees will apply for ceremony event space, based on number of invited guests. Wedding rehearsal the night prior cannot be guaranteed unless the space is reserved in advance. Wedding Day Coordinator services, if requested, begin at $1000. Reception event space is reserved for no more than a four (4) hour time frame. If additional time is required, it will be charged at $250 per hour. Deposits/Payment: For your initial deposit, we will require 25% of your estimated total with your signed contract. Deposits may be paid by personal check, cash or credit card. An additional deposit of 25% of the total will be required six (6) weeks prior to your wedding date. The remaining balance is due fourteen (14) days prior to your wedding date. A credit card is required to have on file to cover any last minute additions, or increases in food or beverage ordered or consumed. Final guarantee of attendance will be required three (3) business days prior to your event date. Should we not receive your guarantee by the required time, the estimated number of attendees on the signed event order (or signed contract) will be come the guarantee of attendance for the hotel's planning and food preparation purposes. We prepare and staff to serve up to 3% over your guaranted amount. Increases over 3% may be subject to menu substitutions and service staff adjustments. Should you have guests with special dietary requirements, please let our Event Wedding Specialist know when you provide your guarantee and our Culinary Team will be happy to provide meals based on their needs. Children's meals are available for those 10 and under for $25 per child. Chair covers may be rented from an outside vendor. The vendor or client will be responsible for putting the chair covers and sashes on the chairs. If you wish for the hotel's team to assist in putting them on and removing them, a $5 per chair fee will be incurred. All prices are exclusive of a taxable 24% service charge and 9.25% State Sales Tax. The state of Tennessee also imposes and additional 15% beverage tax on liquor and wine. Smoke machines, helium balloons, confetti and rice are not permitted in our event or public space. For the enjoyment of all our guests, music/entertainment must conclude by 12 Midnight.
