Each batch is graded and we only select the highest grades of beans for our blends. After traveling across the world, the beans are delivered to the coffee roastery where they are immediately sampled and tasted by experts to ensure the quality is sufficiently high. Three blends have been specially developed by Q Graders (the sommeliers of the coffee world) to give three distinctive flavour profiles. Once the recipe is requested by the roaster, the coffee is weighed out and called through to the roasting drum where it is blended. The coffee beans are continuously rotated inside a large drum and heat is applied. As the coffee heats up, the sugars in the bean caramelise and the cell structure begin to breakdown. We roast to strict specifications to ensure the beans are released at exactly the right time, ensuring a consistently great tasting cup of coffee
