1 Welcome to our Northeast 2018! Northeast Days Ahlem Temple No. 84 The officers and ladies of Ahlem No. 84 have the pleasure of hosting Northeast Days, 2018 at the Hartford/Windsor Marriot Airport Hotel, Windsor, Connecticut. The hotel is a quick trip by Route 91 to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield. We are excited that Northeast Days coincides with the Walk-A- Thon at the hospital on Saturday and hope that you will all be present for that event and participate in any way you are able. Thursday evening will be a casual affair with entertainment by Princess Carla and Friends! Friday we are planning a brunch followed by the Action Team meeting. After an Italian dinner, and a little entertainment by some very special PSQ s, a special degree, written by PP Edgar Gelinas, will be available for anyone wanting to take it. The Marketplace will be open Thursday from 3:00-6:00 pm, Friday from 10:00 am-5:30 pm and Saturday from 7:00 am-9:00 am. With 10(+/-) vendors for your shopping pleasure. Saturday, it is early breakfast buffet then off to the hospital. At 2:00 pm the Temple will be opened with the Sister s Degree, NE meeting, and all other business. We will especially be recognizing all new Northeast Days attendees. On Saturday, the evening banquet will include drawings for all of the exciting prize items and conclude with our beautiful, and sometimes hilarious, unit performances. We invite you to bring your performing units for presentation following the Banquet. We are excited to renew friendships made at Supreme Session and to make new friends of those who are not able to make it to a Supreme. Spouses and other guests have found Northeast Days a most relaxing and enjoyable event at which to spend time with the ladies of the household. And there are many excellent museums and other local attractions to suit every taste. My favorite, the Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden at the Springfield Museum Quadrangle. Our location being quite central, most of you will be able to make the trip by car but the hotel is within the vicinity of Bradley International Airport, for those who are travelling from a distance, most especially from Canada. And we do want our Canadian guests to know that we have been practicing the new wording of the Canadian national anthem. Come and enjoy the fun and frivolity!

This hotel offers free self-parking, each room has a small refrigerator, a heated pool is available and also an exercise room. Get those rooms reserved as soon as possible! 9 Northeast Days 2018 Ahlem Temple No. 84 WALK FOR LOVE Join the fun at Shriners Hospitals for Children Springfield at the 9 th annual Walk for Love walkathon and barbecue! The Walkathon begins at Shriners Hospital on 56 Carew Street, Springfield, MA and continues through Van Horn Park and back to the Hospital for a barbecue. It is an easy three mile walk.
