11 Beverages on consumption You will be asked to pre select prior to your booking date Maximum of three beers One Sparkling/Champagne Maximum of two white and two red Your pre selection of wine will be charged per bottle. Please specify if you would like bottled water, spirits or cocktails to be offered. All other beverages such as soft drinks, juice, coffee and tea will be offered to your guests and charged accordingly. Ask for our Beverage List to be ed to you.

12 Enquiries Please feel free to contact us to enquire about availability for a certain date and area, or arrange a time to view our function areas. A tentative reservation can be held for seven days awaiting a deposit of $1000. If a deposit has not been received within the time frame arranged, the function area will be released. 13 Terms and Conditions Event times Lunch from noon to 4.30 pm Dinner from 6.00 pm to pm Food and beverage All menu and beverage selections are to be finalised 15 working days prior to your event date. It is preferred that an on-site appointment be made and all details are discussed. Should your selections not be advised at this point your menu and beverage selection cannot be guaranteed to be available. All dietary requirements will be catered for individually by our Executive Head Chef. Special dietary requirements must be communicated to the Waterfront Port Melbourne 15 working days prior to the event. Waterfront Port Melbourne reserves the right to substitute menu items of a similar quality without notice, due to and not limited to, supplier shortages and seasonal changes. All menus are seasonal and subject to change, some dishes may contain traces of nuts. Beverages are subject to availability. If a wine is unavailable, we will substitute selected beverages with beverages of equal value. Tentative booking Your booking will be considered tentative until a deposit is paid. All unconfirmed reservations will be automatically cancelled after a 7day period. Your reservation is held tentatively until we receive your deposit together with signed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Confirmation of your booking A deposit of 30% of the total spend is required within 7 days of making your booking. Your booking is considered confirmed on receipt of a deposit and a signed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. If this is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking to make the venue available to other clients. Confirmation of final guest numbers for the function To ensure the success of your event, we require confirmation of final numbers 7 days prior to your function. All functions are quoted based on a minimum number. If your attendance falls below this number, we reserve the right to re-quote the per-head cost. The final number is the amount charged to your function, even if numbers fall below this. If numbers increase, you will need to check with our Functions Coordinator to see if the increased numbers are possible and the increased function cost will be charged accordingly. Confirmation of function details All function details must be finalised 15 days prior to the event. This includes all room set up details, menus, dietary requirements, beverage selection, final guest numbers (as above) and duration of function.

14 Payment We accept cash and all major credit cards. We do not provide credit. The contract signatory is liable to pay all money due under this Agreement. Full payment of Minimum Spend, food bill and any beverage package cost is required 15 days before the event (and is inclusive of GST). Any extra food and beverage consumed is required to be settled at the completion of the function Cancellation Your deposit will be forfeited if you cancel your booking: Less than 1 month prior to event deposit forfeited For bookings, 6 months prior to your event your deposit will be forfeited; however, Waterfront Port Melbourne would be more than happy to transfer your booking details and planning to another preferred date. On Public Holidays, Long Weekends or Special Events. Prices All prices quoted are inclusive of GST. Prices and menus are subject to change. Every endeavour is made to maintain our prices as originally quoted, however, they are subject to change. Should any increases occur, we will notify you immediately. Equipment hire Waterfront Port Melbourne has a preferred list of suppliers and would be more than happy for you to contact them regarding any equipment required. Decorations We are happy to accommodate any themes necessary for your function, however, no items are to be nailed, screwed, stapled or adhered to any of our surfaces or fixtures. Confetti or rice (or similar) is not allowed on the premises or near the surrounding grounds and adjoining pier area. If any damage is caused to Waterfront Port Melbourne due to decorations, the function host will be charged. This amount will be charged within two days after the function date. Smoking A designated smoking area is located near the Champagne Lounge. Smoking is not permitted on the Pier. Responsibility and duty of care Waterfront Port Melbourne does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of any guest s property before, during or after a function. All wedding/birthday gifts and any other personal belongings are asked to be collected at the conclusion of your function as we unfortunately do not have the facilities to store any of these items.

15 Responsibility and duty of care Waterfront Port Melbourne has a duty of care and as such has the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any person they deem to be intoxicated. Any person providing alcohol to the said guest will also be denied service and both (or all) persons will be asked to leave the premises immediately. It is suggested that guests arrange for taxis to be ordered prior to the event to ensure prompt arrival for your service. Function hosts are financially responsible for any damage caused to the property of Waterfront Port Melbourne. All damage costs and any additional abnormal cleaning deemed necessary will be charged for at a rate of $40 per hour per staff member needed. Parking Ticket parking is available and fees do apply as indicated on parking signs. $4.80 per hour $11.00 per day Melways reference 2J A7 Fire and Safety Exit doors must be free of blockages, such as display stands and screens. Exit doors must not be locked, and exit signs must be clearly visible. Highly flammable materials are not permitted.
