Our Grade II listed 18th century Coaching Inn is full of character and history and is famous for sheltering King Charles I who stayed here following the battle of Marston Moor in The hotel boasts two suites for private dining, two delightful period lounges, an AA rosette restaurant, a stunning courtyard decorated with pretty fairy lights and for the colder months a beautiful snug bar with a traditional roaring fire. All are complemented by our friendly, knowledgeable team. We promise to make your special day something truly memorable and by hosting one wedding a day, ensure you are our number one priority. 4 our suites We offer a choice of suites to host your memorable day. The Oxford Suite has high ceilings, chandeliers, private bar and sprung dance floor. Situated on the first floor of our Inn, it overlooks our beautiful courtyard, and can cater for up to 50 day guests and 80 guests evening guests. It is also above the Oxford Lounge, which is ideal for your arrival drinks or an unobtrusive resting area. For the more intimate gathering, we have the Evesham Lounge, nestled away at the front of the building, which is ideal for smaller private dining. Located on the ground floor, it overlooks the high street. The Evesham Lounge features a stunning fireplace, a dining and seating area for up to 14 guests with an adjoining lounge, and is perfect for an after dinner night cap. The Evesham is also an ideal dining area for you and your close family and friends to enjoy the night before your wedding day. Situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Moreton in Marsh, we are conveniently close to St David s Church. We are also fully licenced for ceremonies in the Oxford Suite should you wish to hold your whole celebration with us. Being located in the beautiful Cotswolds, and being a pet friendly Inn, we are also pleased to welcome your beloved dogs who can enjoy your memorable day with you. 6 accommodation The White Hart Royal boasts 28 beautifully designed Classic, Superior and Deluxe bedrooms, all of which have quality linen, free Wi-Fi access and complimentary tea, coffee, mineral water and biscuits. Being a Coaching Inn each room is individually designed and steeped in history, which makes them uniquely styled. On your wedding night you may choose to feel like a King and Queen in the King Charles Room, opt for the Oxford Garden Room with its four poster bed, or the romantic Le Noir room with ambient mood lighting and a bath that s almost the size of the King size bed! We have dog friendly rooms available and a private car park at the rear of the Inn helping to help ensure a relaxed experience for your guests.
