2 Sustainability Commitment Aramark, and our on site team, are committed to ensuring we are responsible partners by joining Camosun College in their commitment to Sustainability. We use cream, milk, and sugar in bulk for our catering services as well as in our retail locations. All Seafood on our catering and retail menu s are certified Oceanwise. We use local produce and fruit whenever possible. A local Bakery provides our breads, which are preservative free. Our eggs are cage free and local! Our plates, cutlery, stir sticks, and napkins are compostable Our cups and glasses are recyclable We will work with you to order the right amount of food and drink to assist in reducing waste. 22 Bar Services Aramark Catering operates under the Camosun College Food Primary License and is governed by the regulations and procedures established by Provincial Legislation and Camosun College policy and regulations regarding liquor on campus. One bartender is included for each event, should more than 1 be required or requested, there will be an additional per hour charge (min 3 hours) For bar services under there will be a set up fee. Requests for bar services must be sent in no later than 14 days prior to the event to allow us to obtain permission under the catering endorsement portion of our license. Prices are all inclusive of taxes Domestic Beer 6.50 Strongbow 7.00 Copper Moon Wines 6.50 (white and red) Specialty Wines and Spirits available on request for larger events. Glassware included for groups up to 100. A rental fee for extra glassware may apply for larger groups. Links to the forms for permission to serve can be found on the next page. These must be filled out and returned no less than 15 days prior to the event. Page 22
23 As the Event Organizer, you will need to complete and submit the following two forms: 1. Here is the 1st form: Permission to Have Liquor at an Event at Camosun College,which must be signed by your Dean or Director. Submit this signed form to the Director, Ancillary Services and your Food Service Provider. 2. Here is the 2 nd form: Request for Bar Service. Submit this form, to your Food Service Provider at Camosun 15 days prior to your event, as these events must be registered with BC Liquor Control Licensing Branch (LCLB) by your Food Service Provider. Note: if there will be more than 500 people or the event is offcampus, the form must be submitted at least 25 days prior to your event. As always, we are able and willing to design a custom menu for your event. We offer service to both Campuses of Camosun College only. All prices quoted include paper service only, most of which is compostable or recyclable. China service is available at an additional cost for large events. Events with China Service must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance. Linen tablecloths can be provided for Food tables upon request at no additional cost. Should you need linen for non food or guest tables, we can assist you in arranging for this. Please allow lead time for this. Our catering team will be pleased to offer assistance with menu and event planning. We have over 30 years catering experience, as well as Certified Chef s and Planners on our team to serve you. Our Aramark kitchens, and those of most of our suppliers, are neither nut nor gluten free. We will however do our best to safely serve those with allergies and sensitivities to food. Please contact our Director of Food Services prior to your event for help in planning for a safe event.
