3 Welcome to Paint Creek Country Club! Nestled among the beautiful rolling hills and ponds of Lake Araho, Paint Creek is one of Northern Oakland County s most picturesque private country clubs. The club is located in comfortable, remote setting only minutes from I-75. The newly renovated 20,000 square foot two-story clubhouse offers a comfortable setting for social activities. The impressive 225-seat main dining room overlooks the first tee, the third green, and our new number nine green, creating a pleasant setting to enjoy your event with meals prepared and served by our professional staff. Our Professional Management Team supervises all catering details so you are able to enjoy your event. Savor the culinary delights prepared by our Executive Chef while we provide a most memorable experience for you and your guests. Experience the luxury of a private country club! Special arrangements can be made so you are able to host your special event at Paint Creek even without a membership. The enclosed packet includes our banquet packages and site details. 4 Payment Schedule Deposit A $1500 payment is required to secure a date. This will be applied to your total event order. Accepted payment types include cash, check or any major credit card. By making a deposit toward your event you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to Paint Creek s Policies and Procedures, and Payment Schedule. In the event of a cancellation, we will refund any money paid minus a $750 cancellation fee after the event date ONLY if we are able to rebook the date with another event of equal or greater value. 180 Days Prior to Your Event A second payment bringing your event total to half paid must be made 180 days prior to your event date. Late payments will result in a $250 late payment fee added to your event and the event can be cancelled without refund. 60 Days Prior to Your Event All linen color choices must be finalized 60 days prior to your event, if not sooner. Failure to do so may result in a limited availability of options. 30 Days Prior to Your Event The menu package along with all food and beverage selections must be made 30 days prior to your event, if not sooner. Failure to do so may result in a limited availability of options. 10 Days Prior to Your Event The final payment and any menu adjustments must be made no later than noon 10 days before your event date. Late payments will result in a $250 late payment fee added to your event and the event can be cancelled without refund. Complete the Bridal Details (page 12). Submit a guest list to Paint Creek no later than noon 10 days before the event date, see more information below. We will try to accommodate any changes within the 10 day time period if possible. Final Billing Final billing will reflect the actual number of guests served or the guaranteed minimum head count, whichever is greater. Additional Fees All prices are subject to Michigan state sales tax and Paint Creek service charge. Groups requesting exemption from state sales tax must submit a tax exempt certificate (Michigan Dept. of Treasury Form 3372) upon confirming their catering with a deposit. Failure to submit this document prior to the event date will result in the sales tax being applied without refund. Gratuity to staff is not included in the total cost of this proposal unless noted and is not mandatory. Required Guest List All events will be required to provide a copy of their guest list to Paint Creek no later than 10 days before the event date. While children aged 5 and under are not charged for, they will need to be included on the provided guest list and be clearly marked as being 5 and under. All others will be billed at our regular rates as our pricing is based on an average. Please include vendors such as photographers, wedding coordinators, photo booth attendants, DJs and/or band members when providing your final guest counts. They will be charged for at the regular rates of your package. 4

11 Paint Creek Country Club Details Main Dining Room Details Maximum Capacity: 250 in main dining room & lounge 225 in main dining room Tables and chairs are included in your room rental There is a mixture of 60 round and 3 x6 rectangle tables that sit 8 guests per table Paint Creek Country Club will also include high-top cocktail tables in the lounge area Friday or Saturday Banquet Details $650 Friday or Saturday Room Rental Fee Minimum of 150 Guests at Full Package Price A six hour time limit is placed on all events utilizing the banquet packages. This does not include your ceremony time if applicable Your event may end as late as midnight Last call will be 30 minutes prior to the conclusion of the event Your party may setup decorations after 11:00 AM on the day of the event Your party may pick up your decorations or keepsakes from your reception as late as 10:00 AM the following day Winter Wedding Details Available for December-February Dates $325 Winter Room Rental Fee Minimum of 100 Guests at Full Package Price for Friday/Saturday Banquets Sunday Wedding Details $450 Sunday Room Rental Fee Minimum of 85 Guests at Full Package Price A five hour time limit is placed on all events utilizing the Sunday Wedding packages The reception may start as early as 12:00 PM (noon) The reception may end as late as 8:00 PM Your party may setup for events utilizing the Sunday Wedding packages as early as 2 hours prior to the reception start time Your party will have 1 hour after the reception end time to gather any decorations or keepsakes from your reception Onsite Ceremony Details Your onsite ceremony may start 30 minutes prior to the reception start time Ceremony chair rental is an additional $1.75 per chair The indoor ceremony is setup on the dance floor with the gorgeous view of the first tee The indoor ceremony fee is $200 The outdoor ceremony location features a white wedding arbor, breathtaking landscaping, and electricity for your wedding music vendor The outdoor ceremony fee is $250 11

12 You are almost there! For the couple that thinks of everything, here are a few more details due by noon 10 days before your wedding. What is your final guest count? Is your ceremony on site or elsewhere? -What time is your ceremony? Have you made your hors d oeuvres selections? (If applicable.) Have you made your dinner selections? Are you adding a late night snack? If so, what is your late night snack selection(s)? What 1 color linen napkin would you like to have? - Would you like the Paint Creek Country Club staff to fold the napkins in our standard tent napkin fold or would you like our staff to leave the napkins unfolded for your party to fold into a different fold? Would you like white, black or ivory for your guest table linens? Are you having a head table? -If so, how many seats are needed including the couple getting marreid? Are you having a photo booth, band or DJ? -Do you need a table provided for any of them? Are you having a cake table? Do you have any specific cake instructions? (i.e., save the top tier or cut and plate all cake) Are you providing your own cake knife and server set? Are you having assigned seating? (Required for Premier Plated Reception) Do you need a registration table for your seating assignment? -A gift table? -A favor table? Final Wedding Details Will it be OK for our bartenders to have a tip jar, or would you like to pre-pay the tip for $1.00 per guest per bartender?
