4 Meal Guarantee Terms Twenty-one days prior to your event we must have your menu and the approximate number of expected guests. Two days prior to the event we must have your final number of guests. This is the amount for which you will be billed and the maximum for which we will prepare. If up to 5% of your guests do not attend we will refund the difference post event. Room Minimums Parties may be required to guarantee a minimum number of adult guests in order to book a room. If a guarantee is required, it will be stated on the contract. When a party s meal guarantee is less than the room guarantee, a $40 per person charge for room rental will be paid on the difference by the event organizer. East Garden: 100 Friday, 120 Saturday, 180 maximum. West Garden: 175 Friday, 195 Saturday, 250 maximum. Garden: 275 Friday, 315 Saturday, 420 maximum. Deposit A $1500 deposit is required for each room reserved. There is an additional $500 deposit to reserve a ceremony site. If you have to cancel your event, your deposit will be refunded (less a $500 booking fee) ONLY if we are able to re-book the room for a similar size party and type. The ceremony deposit is fully refundable ONLY if we are able to re-book the ceremony site. Payment 100% of the estimated bill is to be paid by a cashiers check or cash two days prior to the date of the event. Please note: Silver Lake does not accept credit cards for payment of deposit or bill. Prices The 2018 Package Menu prices are offered on a firm basis for functions held from January 1, 2018 through May 1, Functions booked for the balance of 2020 are subject to a maximum increase of $5 per person over the 2018 Package Menu price. Winter Weddings Saturday evening receptions in November through April are offered at the Friday/Sunday price. In addition, the Winter Wedding Package also includes a choice of hors d oeuvres, chocolate fountain or chair covers and BOTH a champagne toast and wine with dinner. Friday & Sunday receptions during this period will be offered with previously mentioned inclusions and an additional $5 off per person. State Regulations on Food & Beverage All food and beverage items must be supplied by Silver Lake. Customers and guests are not permitted either to bring in or take out food or beverage at the end of the function.the only exceptions to this are commercially prepared cake and pastries. No one under 21 years of age will be served alcohol. There is a $40 service charge for all late night snack deliveries. Typical Time Frame Afternoon functions must conclude by 4:00 p.m. (Bar will remain open during meal service for an afternoon function) Evening events start at 6:00 p.m. or later. The Reception or Dinner Party ususally consists of: Cocktail Hour Prior Dinner 1 hour (example 6:00-7:00) Dinner Service 1.5 hours (example 7:00-8:30) Cocktails and Dancing 3 hours (example 8:30-11:30) Extended Cocktails and Dancing: $2.00 per ½ hour per person charge based on the dinner guarantee. 6 Ceremonies Ceremony Site Fee $1000 Includes: Rental of the site and chairs, use of bridal lounge, Rehearsal on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, Sound system with CD players, lavalier and hand held microphones, Music to be played during gathering time & ceremony. Silver Lake Wedding Music Features Canon in D (Bride s Maids Entrance) Wedding March (Here Comes the Bride) Wedding March (Couple Recessional) You are responsible for securing a ceremony officiant for the service. We ask that your DJ assist us in playing the music during the ceremony on our provided sound equipment. If your reception is in the West Garden room the Waterfall Patio will be set aside for your special event. If your reception is in the East Garden or Club room the Lakeside will be set aside for your special event. Afternoon ceremonies are not possible at the Lakeside ceremony site. In cases of inclement weather, your ceremony will take place in your reception room with your guests at their assigned dinner seats.
