16 CATERING HOTLINE STUBB S BAR B-Q 801 RED RIVER AUSTIN, TEXAS A LITTLE HISTORY Centrally located in Austin s popular downtown entertainment district, Stubb s Bar-B-Q is a landmark attraction housed in a 19th-century structure that has served as a homestead, a grocery, a used furniture store, a beer bar and a tavern called the One Knite, still remembered by longtime Austinites. The familiar rock-faced gabled building has been a live music venue for close to 40 years with Stubb s indoor stage, huge backyard and amphitheatre featuring some of the greatest names in music including Willie Nelson, B.B.
