5 Ordering Information Order Desk Hours Customer service and order-processing personnel are available Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (ET for the East, Midwest and Southeast regions, and PT for the Northwest, West and South Central regions). The Order Desk is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day President s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Christmas Pricing Credits & Returns, Receiving Shipments, Malt Storage All prices are F.O.B., our warehouse. Prices are discounted according to the total malt ordered on a single order. All malt products are available in either whole kernel or milled form. PLEASE NOTE All prices are subject to change without notice. Please check our web site for our most upto-date pricing. Payment Terms A customer profile/credit application must be completed in order to set up an account and establish payment terms. Accounts are typically set up within one to three business days, upon receipt of the signed and completed credit application. Available terms include prepaid, autobill (to a credit card on file) and Net 30 days. Acceptable forms of payment include check, wire transfer and money orders. Discover, MasterCard and VISA are also accepted, for prepaid and autobilled accounts only. Failure to comply with the agreed -to terms of sale may result in delayed shipment of orders or even revocation of credit privileges. Prepayments There are several payment options for our prepay customers: Credit Card (Discover, Master Card or VISA ) via secure payment portal Wire Transfer Check Money Order Freight Programs & Details Freight terms are prepaid and charge (credit card), unless otherwise instructed. The following items need to be requested at the time of order and may have an extra charge: Fuel Surcharge (FSC) based on current published rate. Rates will vary. A current average has been 17% Hazardous Materials Transport fees - $15 per order Lift Gate Delivery - $75 maximum We DO NOT charge a fee for pallets Flat-Rate Pallet Programs Discount programs are established with numerous LTL (less than truckload) carriers. A carrier with the best rate for shipping destination will be assigned, unless otherwise requested or indicated. Our pallet rates are the maximum that you will pay per pallet. Before signing the shipment Bill of Lading (BOL), inspect each pallet and look for any sign of damage or loss. If any problems arise: Please note any items that were shorted, broken or compromised on the BOL before signing. Take photos of the damaged pallets and products. Call our Credits and Returns Desk at (360) within 72 hours to report any issues. Make sure all employees involved in unloading your shipment follow these procedures. Maintaining Malt Quality: All grain suppliers do their utmost to provide a product that is insect-free. However, once the product leaves their plant or warehouse, it is beyond their control. We recommend the following preventive measures: Inspect your malt-storage area at regularly scheduled intervals. This is of particular importance when the room's temperature is above 64 F. Malt should be stored in a clean, cool and dry area off of the ground and away from walls. To reduce the likelihood of pest activity, you may choose to fumigate your storage area periodically. For best results, we recommend using all milled malts within 3 months and whole kernel malts within 6 months of receipt. Receiving Bulk Malt To ensure the best quality of malt, we suggest the following: Ask the driver for documentation of the trailer pre-load cleanout. Inspect the condition of the malt trailer before unloading. Insist upon a slow and steady load-out of malt into the silo. We suggest a load-out rate of no greater than 4 psi. The Bill of Lading should not be signed until your malt is fully unloaded and inspected. The driver is required to note the unload pressure and unload time before it is signed by the receiver. Problems should be noted on the Bill of Lading. If you have any questions at the time of unload, do not hesitate to contact us. The driver must wait if you have any concerns. Malt Analysis Malt analysis reports are available through our on-line Malt Analysis program at Bulk malt analysis reports are automatically ed or faxed. Page 8

The hop is named after the location where Charles Carpenter established the first hop farm east of the Cascade Mountains in Washington State in Amarillo VGXP01 Aroma Aroma: Floral, Citrus Discovered and introduced by Virgil Gamache Farms in Washington State, Amarillo Brand VGXP01 cv. is an aroma variety that has recently become one of the top 10 varieties utilized by the craft beer industry. It features relatively high alpha acids along with extremely high levels of myrcene for citrus and grapefruit flavors. As a result, it is an excellent dual-purpose variety. Amarillo demonstrates good resistance to downy and powdery mildew. Bitter Gold Dual-Purpose Aroma: Grassy, Stone Fruit, Tropical Fruit Released in 1999, Bitter Gold is a high alpha variety with excellent aroma capabilities. Its lineage includes Brewer's Gold, Bullion, Comet and Fuggle. Bitter Gold offers limited aroma when used as a bittering hop, but delivers diverse stone and tropical fruit flavors in later additions. United States Region Bravo Bittering Aroma: Floral, Fruity Developed by Hopsteiner Breeding Company and released in 2006, Bravo is a second-generation, super-alpha variety. It is an excellent bittering variety, but showcases pleasant fruit and sweet floral aroma characteristics too. Brewer's Gold Bittering Aroma: Spicy, Fruity Bred at Wye College in 1919, Brewer s Gold is an ancestor to many major, high alpha hops, including Sterling, Galena, Horizon, Centennial and Nugget. Chinook Dual-Purpose Aroma: Citrus, Spicy, Pine Developed by the USDA breeding program in Washington State and released in 1985 as a high alpha bittering variety, Chinook is a cross between Petham Golding and a USDA male. In recent years, it has found favor as a dual-purpose hop in the craft-brewing community as a result of its spice and pine aroma characteristics. Citra Brand HBC 394 Aroma Aroma: Citrus, Tropical Fruit Developed by Hop Breeding Company and released in 2007, Citra Brand HBC 394 features fairly high alpha acids and total oil contents-with a low percentage of co-humulone. It is tolerant to downy mildew and powdery mildew, with good pickability of dense, medium-sized cones. Comprises Hallertau Mittelfrüh, US Tettnang, Brewer's Gold and East Kent Golding. Cluster Dual-Purpose Aroma: Earthy, Floral, Fruity Cluster is one of the oldest hop varieties grown in the United States and, until the late 1970s, accounted for the majority of the country s hop acreage. Its pedigree is unknown; however, hybridization of imported varieties and indigenous male hops has been suggested. Cluster is an excellent dual-purpose hop and is often used in the reproduction of historical beer styles. Columbus Bittering Aroma: Black Pepper, Licoric, Citrus Originally selected by Charles Zimmerman for Hopunion, Inc., Columbus is a descendant of Nugget. It is a high alpha variety and is primarily used for bittering purposes. Columbus is often referred to as CTZ, a trio of similar hops including Tomahawk and Zeus. Comet Bittering Aroma: Grassy, Citrus Selected in 1961 and released in 1974 by the USDA, Comet was originally utilized for its high alpha acid content and adapability to growing conditions in the Yakima Valley. Ekuanot Brand HBC 366 Aroma Aroma: Melon, Berry, Orange Peel, Lime, Papaya, Pine, Fresh Peppers Developed by Hop Breeding Company and released in 2014, Ekuanot Brand HBC 366 features pronounced aroma characteristics and extremely high oil content. This variety bursts out of the spring soil in vibrant yellow and gradually matures to a deep green color by fall harvest. El Dorado Dual-Purpose Aroma: Tropical Fruit, Stone Fruit High vigor, high alpha acids, lots of oils and resins, good storage stability and an exceptional yield also make this an outstanding commercial variety. It exhibits bold tropical fruit flavors, and is said to be reminiscent of pineapple and mango, in addition to having a resinous back note. On the nose, it imbues aromas of pear, watermelon, stone fruits and even candy. United States Region Golding Aroma Aroma: Floral, Fruity, Herbal Golding hops consist of a group of traditional English aroma varieties, which have been cultivated since The cultivar originated in England and the hops were named after villages in East Kent (Petham, Rothersham, Canterbury, Eastwell). US Golding is the Canterbury strain. It is susceptible to downy mildew, but has good pickability of small-sized, moderately compact cones. HBC 682 Bittering Aroma: Earthy, Spicy, Herbal A descendant of HBC 463 and a UK male, HBC 682 is a super alpha hop cultivar still in the experimental phase. It has a mild and pleasant aroma with herbal, floral and spicy characteristics. When used as a bittering variety, HBC 682 provides a very neutral flavor and pleasant bitterness. In single hop applications, it has been described as having a strong earthy aroma. HBC 682 is currently available in limited quantities, and as a variety-specific Resinate CO2 Hop Extract product. Horizon Dual-Purpose Aroma: Floral, Spicy Bred in Oregon in 1970 and released in 1997, Horizon is a descendant of Brewer's Gold and half-sister to Nugget. Its low co-humulone is similar to noble varieties and provides smoothness to beer; however, alpha acid levels can reach as high as 12%. Horizon can be utilized in every stage of the brewing process. Liberty Aroma Aroma: Floral, Citrus, Spicy Bred in 1983, Liberty is an extension of the Hallertau hop family. It is a half-sister to Ultra, Mt. Hood and Crystal. Liberty demonstrates some tolerance to downy mildew, is susceptible to powdery mildew and has small-sized cones that can be difficult to harvest. Loral Brand HBC 291 Dual-Purpose Aroma: Floral, Citrus, Fruity, Herbal Developed by Hop Breeding Company and released in 2016, Loral Brand HBC 291 has a noble heritage that straddles the fence between old-and-new world hop aromatics.
