It s easy being green at Loose Leaf. Complement your interior design dreams from a day of browsing Smith Street with a stop at an unexpected plant nursery. Behind a garage roller door on Sackville Street is botanical design studio Loose Leaf. There are plants in artful configurations covering the shelves, floors and hanging from the ceiling; a visit is worth it for the thoughtfully designed retail space alone. Stop into the fast-paced, colourful Hotel Jesus for cold drinks and house-made Mexican meals and snacks you can eat with your hands. The specialties here are tacos, tostadas and beers, and because the space is inspired by 1970s Mexican taquerias, you cannot beat it for a laid-back good time. 05. On the rooftop there is a lounge and restaurant, Naked Kitchen, which also serves snacks that are a perfect match for cocktails. Wind down at Rupert on Rupert. If walking into this bar and restaurant feels like you ve discovered an oasis in the back streets of industrial Collingwood, you re in the right place. The large space, dotted with greenery, has a clever and welcoming layout for drinking and dining (locals go for the wood-fired pizza).
