2 OPTION #1 Modern Cafe A contemporary café with influences from all over the world a country feel with a city edge. The interior design would be raw concrete warmed with lots of timber timber chairs, timber bar, timber benches along the front windows, timber tables and timber shelves housing modern books and magazines. The colours could be warm red on the feature wall and white everywhere else with greenery scattered throughout. Large copper bell lights, led lights in the ceiling and light boxes highlight the space to encourage people to settle in with their laptop or to enjoy a good read. Cool artwork throughout would complete the modern feel. The atmosphere would be laid back with cool tunes playing in the background. It is set up to be a less intense café to operate with a high percentage of take away options and with a lighter staff requirement. The focus would be Fast, Funky & Fresh. The café would have a Danish aesthetic with lots of light woods, the colours would be white and pistachio green, a generally modern feel but earthy and inclusive. The menu would be front counter driven with a small prep kitchen at the back and all food displayed in the deli fridge at the front. 4 OPTION #3 Euro Style Café Bar Cool café by day and good vibe restaurant bar by night. The fit out would be Euro cool, marble tables with iron bases, Bentwood café chairs, hat and jacket stands and umbrella holders. The café would be open at 7am every day and for dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The café would be predominately about food however, as there is no bar in the west Bathurst area, this could be a great evening venue. The colours would be deep red and white, the decoration would be lots of perfectly hung black and white pictures in black wooden frames with white borders. The menu would be very Eurocentric and synonymous with quality yet affordable. The café would have a unique feel of past and present European cafés.
